Elden Ring: All Great Dragons Guide

You can get Dragon Hearts by killing Great Dragons. Dragon Heart is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring which cannot be consumed but is used to trade at the Church of Dragon Communion for Dragon-based Incantations.
Flying Dragon Agheel
- Location: Limgrave (Agheel Lake)
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; 5,000 Elden Ring Runes
You can meet the boss Flying Dragon Agheel when you enter the Agheel Lake North, and it is one of the most powerful enemies you will encounter early in the game.
Elder Dragon Greyoll
- Location: Caelid
- Reward: Dragon Heart x5; 50,000 Runes + 5423 Runes (dropped by the surrounding smaller dragons)
Greyoll is large but can not move. She is surrounded by many smaller dragons. You can find a safe position to attack her. If you want to kill her faster, you can use a bleed weapon.
Flying Dragon Greyll
- Location: Caelid, Farum Greatbridge
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; 80,000 Runes
The Flying Dragon Greyll is in the middle of the Farum Greatbridge. You can trigger the battle with it when you close to it. It is recommended to melee on Torrent to prevent the Greyll from flying and making the fire damage.
Decaying Ekzykes
- Location: east of Caelid Highway South
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; 38,000 Runes
Decaying Ekzykes can be found by traveling along the Caelid Highway in the south. Be careful when beat it, as it can release Scarlet Rot.
Glintstone Dragon Smarag
- Location: Liurnia of the Lakes
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; 14,699 Runes
You can meet this dragon at Liurnia of the Lakes, and there is also an Academy Glintstone Key (a necessary item to enter the Academy) behind it.
Glintstone Dragon Adula
- Location: Three Sisters / Cathedral of Manus Celes
- Reward: Dragon Heart x3; Adula's Moonblade; 120,000 Runes
When entering the Three Sisters, you will encounter Adula. It will fly away once it drops half of its life. It will teleport to the Cathedral of Manus Celes where it can be killed.
Borealis, the Freezing Fog
- Location: Mountaintop of the Giants
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; 100,000 Runes
Borealis is on the Mountaintop of the Giants, where visibility is poor due to persistent snowstorms, making it extremely difficult to kill.
Magma Wyrm Makar
- Location: Liurnia of the Lakes
- Reward: Dragon Heart x1; Dragonscale Blade; 18,000 Runes
Makar is located in the Liurnia of the Lakes. After passing through the yellow fog door, you encounter the boss and trigger the battle.
Great Wyrm Theodorix
- Location: Albinaurics Rise
- Reward: Dragon Heart x3; 180,000 Runes
Theodorix appears on the knot glacier northeast of the Albinaurics Rise. You need to find two Haligtree Secret Medallion and use them at the Grand Lift of Rold before entering the Consecrated Snowfield.
Ancient Dragon Lansseax
- Location: Abandoned Coffin Site of Grace in Altus Plateau
- Reward: Lansseax's Glaive; 60,000 Runes
Enter the Altus Plateau after you beat Magma Wyrm Makar. On the way to the Abandoned Coffin, you first encounter Lansseax, who will run away after losing a few life points. Then head to the east hill of the Stormcaller Church to meet it again. You will get the Lansseax's Glaive when you kill it.
Dragonlord Placidusax
- Location: Crumbling Farum Azula
- Reward: Remembrance of the Dragonlord; 280,000 Runes
The dragon is located in the hidden area of Farum Azula. Ride an elevator down, come out of the church to the edge of the cliff, jump to the platform, and then continue to jump, lying on the front of the building debris to teleport directly to the Dragonlord.
Magma Wyrm and x3 Glintstone Dragon
- Magma Wyrm No.1 was found inside the Volcano Manor Legacy Dungeon. It drops Dragon Heart x1 and 5,044 Runes.
- Magma Wyrm No.2 was found in the lava lake next to Seethewater Terminus in Mt. Gelmir. It drops Dragon Heart x1 and 19,000 Runes.
- Magma Wyrm No.3 was found inside Gael Tunnel at Caelid. It drops Dragon Heart x1 and 7,500 Runes.
- x3 Glintstone Dragon west of Moonlight Altar. They drop x1 Dragon Heart each (3 Dragon Hearts in total).
