Since the launch of the all - new Riven Tides map in ARC Raiders, countless players have jumped into its intense and thrilling adventures. Here is a detailed guide to Riven Tides, which can help players easily earn ARC Raiders Coins and various rare ARC Raiders Items along the way!

💥 How to Deal with the New Enemy: The Turbine

The Turbine, a new enemy that appears on the Riven Tides map, can only be described as a "deadly cone of death." It descends from the sky and, upon landing, lays down a minefield that detects approaching players. If a player gets too close or opens fire, it will take off and launch lightning attacks.

Fortunately, as long as a player pays attention to its attack trajectory, they can quickly sprint or take cover after its homing projectiles hit or fly past them to avoid damage.

The Turbine typically appears randomly around the 15 - minute mark of a match, and its landing location is also unpredictable. While it's most common on Riven Tides, it can also appear on other maps like Blue Gate and Buried City.

When the Turbine lands and sets up its tripod, the rotating yellow pipes inside become its weak point. Using legendary weapons like the Jupiter or a grenade launcher can deal high damage, but a more efficient method is using Deadline Mines. A player should rush in as soon as the Turbine lands and plant a Deadline Mine on its weak point. This works even better with multiple players, but solo players can also pull it off—about four mines should be enough to take it down.

If a player prefers ranged combat, weapons like the Pharaoh or Osprey work well. They should keep a distance of 175–185 meters and use windows or small openings to hit its weak points.

📜 New Blueprints and Items

This update also introduces several new blueprints, including:

• Landing Pad: Prevents fall damage when jumping from heights.

• White Flag: A cosmetic or utility item.

• Powered Descender: Allows a player to glide like a parachute, though it has a height limit (a player can't use it from extremely high places like the Spaceport tower).

On the Riven Tides map, blue plastic containers and storage drawers in shipping containers are common places to find the Landing Pad and Powered Descender blueprints. New key cards are often found inside green drawers in containers.

The Powered Descender is very useful, but it requires a Turbine Compressor to craft, making it somewhat expensive. That said, a player doesn't necessarily have to defeat the Turbine to get one—there's a small chance to find it on ARC Couriers. Some players have also reported finding it inside ARC Husks, though this remains unconfirmed. ARC Couriers may also contain Vaporizer Regulators.

📍 Key Material Locations

• Comet Igniter: A crucial material for crafting Deadline Mines and participating in the "Aven Alert" event. To get it, a player should keep their distance, throw a Seeker Grenade, and follow up with ranged attacks using an Anvil. It's recommended to always carry Seeker Grenades on Riven Tides.

• Ship Models: These are highly valuable and can be found everywhere on Riven Tides, often on tables, computer workstations, or carts, and sometimes inside containers.

• Fertilizer: Mostly found along the seabed on the western beaches of the map, near the shoreline or lakeside waterlines. A few spawn points can also be found along small rivers and near the Port Authority building.

• Moss and Mushrooms: These can be found in the dry riverbed between the hotel and the shipyard, where moss is especially abundant.

• Roots: Mostly found inside blue plastic containers that need to be broken, with more spawns near the hotel area.

🗝️ Unlocking the Puzzle Room

In Yard Tower 1 (the leftmost tower), there are two yellow locked doors. To open them, a player needs to press four buttons scattered across 19–20 possible locations. Buttons can be found in various spots, including:

• Bushes near the tower

• Next to double yellow containers

• Inside corner holes

• Near ladders on the other side of the tower

• On the crane at the top of the tower, in small huts, on stair landings, on red beams, or on gray platforms

Tower 2 also has four possible button locations: beside the door, next to a computer desk, in a corridor, and outside the main door.

Once a player has pressed all four buttons, they should return to Tower 1 to enter the secret puzzle room, which contains decent loot and possibly a weapon crate. Inside the room, there's a spot to insert a fuel cell. Inserting it opens a second secret loot room. The fuel cell is usually found near the tower. A player can use a grappling hook or a repaired elevator to bring it up
