Getting Started: Unlocking Phantom Village

Your relic journey begins with speaking to the Expedition Messenger in Tuliyollal. This will lead you to the Eureka Isle, along with several introductory cutscenes and objectives. Complete the initial tasks—checking specific locations and talking to NPCs—and you’ll unlock Phantom Village, the central hub for all things relic-related. Also, you can always re-enter Phantom Village via the Passage to Phantom Village at the Tuliyollal Pier.

Stage One: Arcane Artistry & Demiatma Farming

Once inside Phantom Village, pick up the quest Arcane Artistry, where you’ll reunite with Gerolt, who will again assist you in forging your relic.

Demiatma Collection

Gerolt’s first request is to gather Demiatma—you’ll need six different types, with three of each type. This system feels reminiscent of previous relic grinds from Heavensward and Shadowbringers. Here’s how to collect them:

Pro Tip: This step is account-wide—you only need to do it once, even for multiple relics!

Stage Two: Tomestones of Heliometry

The second step involves collecting 1,500 Tomestones of Heliometry per weapon—your first weapon requires collecting three Arcane Knights (500 each).

Final Steps & Summary

Once you’ve gathered your three Arcane Knights, return to Gerolt, who will craft your first-stage Phantom weapon. Any additional weapons for other jobs can be crafted by the Lalafell NPC standing next to him. The first stage can take half a day or longer, depending on your luck and grind speed—but it’s one-time only!
