Each Chronicle represents a lore-based interaction tied to Lilith, Inarius, and the creation myth of Sanctuary. Unlike standard collectibles, they cannot be activated directly. Players must first solve a nearby statue alignment puzzle.

How Chronicles of Creation Work
Each Chronicle is built around a three-part interaction system:
● A central Weathered Shrine (Chronicle statue)

To complete a Chronicle:
1. Locate the Weathered Shrine
2. Find both surrounding statues
3. Rotate Lilith and Inarius toward the shrine
4. Wait until both light beams connect
5. Return and interact with the shrine again
Player execution tips:
● Always start by locating the Weathered Shrine first before clearing the area
● If only one beam appears, the second statue is still misaligned
● Beam visibility confirms correct rotation, not timing or animation
● Some statues require multiple small adjustments to align correctly
● After both beams connect, you MUST re-interact with the shrine for completion
The final interaction is required. Without re-clicking the shrine, the Chronicle will NOT count.
Once completed, each Chronicle rewards:

● Gold
● Obols
● Gem fragments
Where to Find Chronicles of Creation Locations
There are 30 Chronicles of Creation in total, distributed across six Skovov regions:
● Philios – 5
● Lycander – 5
● Athulua – 3
● Atanos – 6
● Celestia – 5
● Skartara – 6
Efficient Search Strategy:
● Instead of exploring randomly, use a structured region-based approach:
● Fully clear one region before moving to the next
● Track missing Chronicles by region counter
● Prioritize open terrain areas first
● Use the statue beam direction as a navigation clue toward the shrine
● Complete Skartara last due to low visibility terrain
Chronicles often spawn in:
● Small ruins
● Cliff edges
● Broken stone platforms
● Semi-hidden corners of terrain
Skartara has many statues placed in low visibility areas like lava cracks or dark rock pockets, so always check below the elevation levels. Some areas are locked behind the Lord of Hatred campaign progression, so not all Chronicles are available immediately. If a region is inaccessible, continue the campaign and return later when the full Skovos map is unlocked.
How to Get Chronicles of Creation
Chronicles of Creation are not quest rewards and cannot be directly obtained. They must be discovered through exploration and puzzle interaction.
Efficient completion method:
● Always prioritize visible Weathered Shrines before fighting mobs in the area
● Use the statue beam direction as a navigation tool (beam = directional guide to shrine)
● If you find a statue first, rotate it until a beam appears, then follow it
● Complete Chronicles region-by-region instead of random exploration
● Return later after campaign progression if zones are locked
The fastest route is:
● Clear open terrain regions first (Philios / Lycander)
● Then move to medium-density zones (Atanos / Celestia)
● Finish Skartara last due to visibility issues
After completing all Chronicles in a region, you will unlock:
● A lore vision sequence
● A follow-up quest from Kallinos at the Temple of Life
Note: You do not need to turn in quests immediately. Many players collect all Chronicles first, then complete all Kallinos quests in one batch to reduce backtracking.
