The new Patch 6.1 is alive in Final Fantasy XIV, and there are many new contents. I will list out the main contents in this article and where to unlock them.
Before we get started, the new housing lottery system is also alive. The submit window is closing, so if you haven't applied for a new housing yet, you still have time to find out how much FF14 Gil your desired house costs, then buy that amount of FFXIV Gil with fast delivery at MmoGah, and submit your lottery entries before it closes.
After the housing, let's get to the main contents.
In patch 6.1, you will probably want to start from where you left off with the MSQ (Main Scenario Quest) storyline. The first quest can be found in The Rising Stones in Mor Dhona with the NPC Tataru at X:6.0 Y:5.9, and the quest name is "Newfound Adventure." In this questline, players can also unlock the new dungeons.
Requirement: Players must first complete the main scenario quest, "Endwalker."
To unlock Ultima's Bane (Unreal), players have to complete the "Fantastic Mr. Faux" quest.
NPC: Painfully Ishgardian Man (X:7.0 Y:5.9) in Idyllshire.
Requirement: Players have to complete the Shadowbringers' quest "Keeping up with the aliapohs," If you have done this quest before, you will automatically unlock Ultima's Bane (Unreal).
The first part of the alliance raid is "Aglaia," which requires you to have completed a certain 6.1 MSQ quest. Once you have reached that point, the quest "A Mission in Mor Dohna" will appear.
NPC: Fresh-faced Student (X:9.1 Y:11.5) in Old Sharlayan.
The Crystalline Conflict is the new 5v5 five-minute match, and you can unlock this by completing "A pup no longer," which is a Level 30 quest in your Grand Company. If you have already done it, the new PvP Mode should be automatically unlocked.
If you haven't, then after completing "A pup no longer," go to the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.9 Y:6.4) and talk to Gungi Zelungi, and the quest name is "The Crystal (Line's) Call."
New PvP actions have been added, and many other changes, so now the PvP is enjoyable to play. If you haven't unlocked it yet, it is definitely worth trying.
To unlock The Minstrel's Ballad: Endsinger's Aria, players have to speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan (X:12.7 Y:14.2) as a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic.
Requirement: Complete the MSQ "Endwalker."
The quest name is "Bitter Snow."
NPC: Shirabaht (X:7.7 Y:9.4) in Radz-at-Han.
Requirement: Players must first complete the MSQ "Endwalker" and the previous Role Quests.
