Elden Ring: Most OP Builds After Patch 1.07

By Bosbone2022-10-25

Now that the game has been updated recently with the new 1.07 Patch, it's time to see what Builds are worth your time. One of the best ways to experience it again is to create a brand-new Build that you haven't tried yet. Perhaps there is a character in the game that you want to roleplay as, or maybe you just want to test the viability of an idea you imagined.

Elden Ring OP Builds-1

Not every build suits every player perfectly. While some want to cast spells, others prefer to increase their Strength. For this list, we will exclude the Best Bleed Builds in Elden Ring since we already covered this topic. Now let's jump into the list.

The Zweihander Build

This is probably one of the best all-around Builds you can use after the 1.07 Patch. The main reason I believe it to be among the greatest is that you will be able to defeat every boss in the game with relative ease. You can almost completely immobilize bosses and deal absurdly great damage on most enemies. It is strong in both PvE and PvP.

Elden Ring OP Builds-2

Weapon

Zweihander

The Zweihander is an amazing Colossal Sword, and the main reason we chose it for this build is that it got the lowest Stat requirements. You only need 19 Strength and 11 Dex to wield it. You will be able to stagger most enemies in the game with just a light attack. You can purchase this weapon from the Isolated Merchant in Weeping Peninsula for 3500 Runes. Additionally, you can increase your character's toughness with these unique Elden Ring items.

Spells

Flame of the Fell God

Flame of the Fell God is a powerful Fire Giant Incantation. It will summon a fireball that will explode in front of the enemy and set the area ablaze. You can obtain it after you kill Adan, Thief of Fire in the Liurnia of the Lakes.

Giantsflame Take Thee

This amazing Incantation lets you hurl a massive ball of raging fire on enemies. You can purchase it from Brother Corhyn or Mirel, Pastor of Vows, after you hand them the Giant's Prayerbook. This Incantation costs 13.000 Runes. If you don't have enough Runes, you can easily purchase Elden Ring runes in our leading store within minutes.

Flame Grant Me Strength

When you use this Incantation, it increases your Physical Damage by 20 and your fire damage by another 20 for 30 seconds, so in total, you basically get a 40 damage buff when you use weapons that deal both Physical and Fire Damage. You can get this Incantation on a corpse between two Maneuverable Flamethrowers behind Fort Gael.

Flasks

Flame Shrouding Cracked Tear

It temporarily increases the power of your fire attacks. You can find this Crystal Tear after you defeat the Erdtree Avatar at the Minor Erdtree in Caelid near the Smoldering Church.

Cerulean Hidden Tear

This Crystal Tear gives us infinite Mana for 15 seconds. This is essential because buffing yourself up right before a Boss encounter typically requires using a sizable amount of Mana. So instead of wasting one of your Mana flasks and some duration time on your Buffs, you can just walk in with full Mana and start throwing your Fireballs like crazy. You can get this Crystal Tear after you kill the Ulcerated Tree Spirit at the Minor Erdtree in Mt. Gelmir.

Stats/Talismans

You'll need at least 19 Strength, 11 Dex, and 41 Faith to use this build properly. After that, once your Faith score reaches 80, I'd suggest adding extra points to either Endurance so you can wear heavier armor or Mind so you can cast more spells. For the Talismans, you can use Great-Jar's Arsenal, Flock's Canvas, and Fire Scorpion Charm.

The Lightning Guardian Build

Elden Ring OP Builds-3

This build is focused around the Guardian Sword spear and is mostly dexterity-based, while it also significantly leans on Faith for utility and versatility. This underrated weapon is incredibly potent, especially when the Keen Affinity is applied.

Weapon

Guardian's Swordspear

You can get the Guardian Swordspear after you kill some Erdtree Guardians and find them in Altus Plateasu around the Minor Erdtree Church.

I would suggest using two Ashes of War with this weapon. The first one is the Sword Dance, which you can acquire very early in the game. This item is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab that can be found close to the Minor Erdtree in Liurnia's southwest corner. The second Ash I suggest is Piercing Fang. This Ash of War was buffed in the latest 1.07 Patch, so this is another good reason to use it. With this skill, you will launch a deadly thrust that can't be blocked. You can obtain this Ash from Nagakiba as a part of the "Bloody Finger Hunter Yura" questline. Here you can find the complete guide to the Bloody Finger Hunter Yura questline.

Another thing that I would suggest is the Brass Shield. You can get it from the Godrick Soldiers or the Raya Lucaria Soldiers that wield this shield.

Talismans

Radagon's Soreseal

This talisman raises your Vigor, Strength, Endurance, and Dex by 5 points, but it also increases the damage taken by 15%.

Marika's Soreseal

This talisman raises your Intelligence, Faith, Mind, and Arcane by 5 points, but it also increases the damage taken by 15%.

Erdtree's Favor +1

This talisman increases your stamina and Equip load and your maximum HP. You can find it in Subterranean Shunning-Grounds after you defeat one of the toughest Bosses in Elden Ring, Mohg.

Spells

You can choose a variety of great Incantations for this build, especially the ones that were updated in Patch 1.07.

Lightning Spear

You can buy this Incantation from Brother Corhyn or Mirel, Pastor of Vows after you give them the Dragon Cult Prayerbook.

Frozen Lightning Spear

You can obtain this great Incantation after you kill the Dragonskin Soldier of Nokstella.

Lannseax's Glaive

You can get it after you defeat Ancient Dragon Lansseax.

Vyke's Dragonbolt

You can obtain it after you kill Roundtable Knight Vyke.

Stats

I advise improving your dexterity to at least 52 and Faith to at least 25 so you can use both the Golden Vow and Vyke's Dragonbolt. For the rest, you can increase your Vigor, Endurance, and Mind.

Ornamental Straight Sword Build

Elden Ring OP Builds-4

This is a non-familiar Elden Ring Faith Build that is excellent in both PvP and PvE. This build is fantastic if you manage to buff it to the max because even the basic attacks can be deadly. The jumping attack is also excellent because it delivers three distinct strikes.

Enemies and certain bosses will be simple for you to defeat. When you're fighting a boss, your main objective is to confront him as much as you can while channeling the full special heavy strike. Now let's start with the main weapon.

Weapons

The Ornamental Straight Swords

The Ornamental Straight Swords are a pair of straight swords that are designed to be dual-wielded. They are also rather simple to get, and you can obtain them in the first 30 minutes of the game.

You can obtain this weapon after you kill the Grafted Scion at the Chapel of Anticipation. The weapon skill is called Golden Tempering, and it was updated in patch 1.07. When buffed up, it will give you the Holy Damage. This unique skill lasts for 1 minute after the patch.

Armors

Twinned Helm

You can obtain this Helm after you kill D, Hunter of the Dead in Limgrave East.

Cleanrot armor set

You can obtain this Armor Set after you kill Lesser Cleanrot Knights in Caelid, Inner Aeoni, although, you will have to do this a couple of times.

Talismans

Axe Talisman

This great talisman increases your Charge – attack damage by 10%. You can find it underneath the Mistwood Ruins in a Cellar.

Rotten Winged Sword Insignia

This great talisman improves your attack power with successive attacks. You can get this talisman only if you choose to assist Millicent and defeat her sisters.

Millicent's Prosthesis

With each hit, this talisman will improve your attack power, and it will also boost your dexterity by five points. To obtain it, you must first kill the Godskin Apostle, and then Millicent at the Windmill Heights site of grace.

Sacred Scorpion Charm

This great talisman increases the Holy Damage by 12%, and it also increases the Physical Damage taken by 10%. You can obtain this talisman after you kill Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater near the Smoldering Church in Caelid.

Crystal Tears

Thorny Cracked Tear

This Crystal Tear will boost successive attack power. You can get it after you eliminate the Putrid Avatar in the Consecrated Snowfield (Liturgical Town – Minor Erdtree).

Spiked Cracked Tear

This Crystal Tear will boost your charged-attack power. You can find it right next to the Minor Erdtree in Mistwood on an altar.

Stats

Those stats would be ideal for this build.

Vigor 60

Mind 20

Endurance 17

Strength 16

Dexterity 75

Intelligence 9

Faith 25

Arcane 7
