Situations for players to buy main scenario quests boost in FFXIV
1. Players pre-ordered Endwalker will get a Menphina’s Earrings, which increases EXP earned by 30% when level 80 and below. When they use the earrings, their character level will get way ahead of MSQ level. When players reach level 50 and still have many MSQ left but want to go on and play Heavensward, they could pick up the boost for Tales of Adventure: A Realm Reborn and get through with it.
2. Players want to play in Stormblood and have a character at level 60 or above, but MSQ level is way behind, so they can buy a boost for Tales of Adventure: Heavensward to skip the rest MSQ.
3. Players want to play in Shadowbringers and have a character at level 70 or above, but MSQ is way behind, so they can buy a boost for Tales of Adventure: Stormblood.
Since players can play all jobs on one character, and one character only gets to do the MSQ once. So, players who want to skip MSQ only need to buy the boost once, unless players have more than one character.
