World of Warcraft Classic Demo Will Come on November 2

By Shirley Huang2018-10-23

Blizzard announced in June this year that World of Warcraft: Classic will be based on patch 1.12 - Drums of War. A new Classic wow experience is on its way, and is set to offer long-term fans the chance at playing the Vanilla experience again.

Classic servers will go live at the conclusion of opening ceremony on Nov 2, and player who has a virtual ticket will get access to the exclusive demo within the comfort of his own home.

World of Warcraft director Ion Hazzikostas explained in the video how the demo will work for the Classic experience, allowing fans to dive deep into the vanilla Horde vs. Alliance experience.

The Demo’s focus is on outdoor questing, only two zones will be available for players in the demo. Horde players will find themselves in the Barrens, while Alliance players will get to play through Westfall. So you can step back in time and experience these zones.

There are some limitations in the content: players won’t be able to access dungeons: the Deadmines or Wailing Caverns, and will only be able to duel other players if they want a chance at PvP.

Players will start at level 15, and will be capped at level 19. They’ll have multiple character slots to mess around with different classes.

At Level 15, Priests have Psychic Scream, Warriors have Defensive Stance, Hunters have their pets and so on, so your class has some key tools that make the class distinct. Moreover, all characters will be capped at Level 19. But you can create multiple characters to try out as many different classes and races as you’d like! You’ll also find that post-launch accessibility options are in the demo.

Office site will limit the time for the demo. Players will also be able to create as many characters as many different classes as they’d like while the demo is active.

Some new features are coming to WoW Classic over the 2004 original. Because the demo will be integrated with Battle.net from day one, players will be able to access their pre-existing friend list to talk with other players in game. The demo will also include widescreen support, and player report tools for those that might be cheating. Finally, Blizzard will add accessibility options for colorblind players into the World of Warcraft: Classic demo, something that wasn’t around in the vanilla World of Warcraft era.

I am sure that most wow fans are really excited about the BlizzCon WoW Classic Demo, and the demo is an important step in the process of bringing the original WoW back to life authentically.
