What You Need to Know About Hideouts

A hideout is a unique space that each player can create. After releasing Helena in Act 2, which will allow you to switch safe houses and assist in finding new ones, you can access hideouts. Gamers can welcome masters Helena, Kirac, Navali, Tane, and Sister Cassia, as well as former league-specific NPCs, to their refuge. Additionally, the player can add décor to the refuge.

How to Unlock Hideouts?

A hideout must be utterly free of all enemies when you first discover it. The tile set for the Hideout is then made available.

Note: Other players may later enter the Hideout to open it even after the monsters have been defeated.

Decorations and Visitors

There is a total of 750 tile sets available to each player in the game, while some of them you can buy from vendors.

Right-clicking on the username of the chosen player and selecting "Visit Hideout" will allow players to visit that player's hiding place. The hideout stash's bottom tick boxes allow you to regulate who has access to this. Companions, club participants, and party members can all be allowed or excluded separately by the player.

You can visit the wiki page to see which tile sets are available and which ones you can take fancy and if you want more fun articles like this, bookmark the MmoGah page, so you are always close to cool articles and informative guides.

Best Community-Made Hideouts

Let's dive into what are the best Hideouts, in our opinion, and why they are the best.

1.   Verdant Spring

This underground Hideout Verdant Spring is a peaceful place surrounded by water on three sides by a channel while something of a praying tree is in the middle. The walls are lined with green shrubs and plants. Water's great ambiance and sound make this Hideout the best by Fall_Makes_Hideouts.

2.   Shavronne's Hidden Runic Trove

She created in the enlightened tileset this Shavronne's Hideout, which creates in the vision of Fernis' Lore, inspired by Chevron's tragic story. The hands and head of the Colossus represent the fight for her freedom. It also represents all the gold she stacked. Made by twoclaw, this is a fantastic effort by a player.

3.   ALIEN On LV-426

Straight out of the world of Alien movies and paintings from Geiger, this unique Hideout looks impressive with its complete spaceship aesthetic. It doesn't look like it's from Wraeclast and gives the vibe a traveler from Space accidentally landed here. Made by LeShor on the Enlightened Hideout tile set, this is a piece of art and shows when community members work hard. They can make amazing things.

4.   Castle of Pathsylvania

According to Bex, the community manager at Grinding Gear Games, the Castle of Pathsylvania is an immaculate hideout. The default tileset used in this Hideout gives a lot of room for creativity for those who want to make changes. The author of this Hideout, DrakSenf, based it on lore he wrote himself, telling age gone by when scholars could make impressive constructions for the royal family. What happened to them, and what caused their demise? You can uncover more secrets by exploring this sprawling castle made from scratch.

5.   QF - 2B

There is nothing Battle Scarred about this QF-2B Hideout on the tileset on which it is made, as right there in the center of the garden, you can see the outline of a woman bending over, almost making this image NSFW. Nonetheless, this is a worthy effort by QuantumFox, who makes this great Hideout look like the mansion of some pervert lord.

With over 29,341 views and favorites by 227 people, QF has made many similar hideouts with an Anime girls' theme and aesthetic right there in the middle where you cannot miss it.

6.   The Corrupted Temple

Made by shepherddwu, the Corrupted Temple has a test of fire through which you can pass and enjoy the deathly but bright tileset of this temple. Corpses hanging at every corner give this Hideout a scary yet rich aesthetic, but as soon as you enter the throne room, you can see this rich, eerie Hideout was built on the corpses and blood of many exiles. That's Wraeclast for you in a nutshell.

It is apparent from the exile as soon as you enter the temple that the author took inspiration from the gloom and doom of the game.

7.   StrandOfExile

This Hideout is made on the Coastal Hideout tileset and is more akin to Pirates of the Exile than PoE but still sends out amazing views and vibes. The best thing we love about this Hideout is the entrance, as it looks like you are entering a torn-down Church from which only the Window frame survived, showing its destruction. You have to visit for yourself to see what we mean. Visit StandOfExile and thank its creator, rogal19, for this great-looking template of a hideout.

8.   Catarina's Asylum

You never know what you are missing in a game until you see it in working condition. This case is the same when we look and visit Catarina's Asylum as you see Catarina as a captive in this excellent Hideout showing the endeavor of the author Freakopat who has tamed Catarina and made it possible. This is what he has to say about his unique creation.

"The hiding place ought to be a little portion of a big neglected vault that Catarina has reclaimed as her own. The Hideout is a truly nasty, nightmare-like setting that reflects Catarina's misguided view of the cruelty of psychologically sick patients — yes, this is meant to represent her own "mental health institution" — and her perverted concept of such practices.

I hope you enjoy it."
