Why It Is One of the Most Beloved Ones

Enigma Runeword is famous for its ability to give players a valued bonus - Teleport, which is a skill that can support players to move instantly to a destination within their line of sight at a fast speed. Though this skill is not suitable for larger distances, it is still very useful when players encounter hard enough hits or fierce PvP battles. When they have equipped armors with Enigma, even if they are not Sorceresses, they could teleport like Sorceresses, no matter what their characters’ classes are.

Enigma also provides other useful stats:

+45% Faster Run/Walk

+1 To Teleport

+750-775 Defense

+ (0.75 Per Character Level) +0-74 To Strength (Based On Character Level)

Increase Maximum Life 5%

Damage Reduced By 8%

+14 Life After Each Kill

15% Damage Taken Goes To Mana

+ (1 Per Character Level) +1-99% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (Based On Character Level)

As above, Enigma gives high defense, which means that low-level D2R armors with Enigma will get the same defense as higher-level armors. It also gives plus strength and adds Magic Find to players based on their character level.

A point to be noted here is that although 15% of taken damage goes to Mana when players get damage, it does not mean a part of the physical damage is reduced, and players still get 100% damage.

Which Runes Are Included

Players need to collect 3 Runes - Jah Rune, Ith Rune, Ber Rune and insert them in sequence into a Body Armor with three sockets. But Enigma is a very expensive Runeword to build because Jah Rune and Ith Rune are high D2R Runes that can not be easily obtained. So once you get them, make sure to put these Runes in the right order and do not waste the chance. Players maybe have a high chance to farm them in Act 3 and Act 4, or they can use Horadric Cube Recipe to make them.

Which Armors Are Suitable for It

Enigma is often socketed in Armors of low required strength, and the best D2R Base Armor is Light Plate which includes Archon Plate, Mage Plate.

Strength Requirement of Archon Plate is 103.

Strength Requirement of Mage Plate is 55.
