Exploration is always the biggest fun in MMORPG. WoW is no exception. Recently, a team called the Secret Finding Discord discovered a secret mount named Otto in the new expansion Dragonflight. How to get this mount? After reading this guide, you will find the answer. Let’s start!
First, you need to get your hands on a Golden Coin of the Isles. To get it, you need to trade 75 Copper Coins for 5 Silver Coins and then 5 Silver Coins for one Golden Coin. If you have Silver, you can directly use it to trade for a Golden Coin. Then how to get these coins?
1. Fishing in the Dragon Isles will give you a small chance of getting Copper Coins and Silver Coins and a much smaller chance of gaining Golden Coins.
2. The next way is the Tuskarr Tacklebox, which you unlock at Renown 27 with the Iskaara Tuskarr. Fly around and open these treasures that will have a small chance of containing the coins. This isn't the best method, but you will earn a bit of World of Warcraft gold while you do this.
3. The best method is Lunker Harpoon Fishing. You'll join a group and head down to one of the fishing holes to defeat the mobs to get coins.
After you get the coins, you can head over to the Great Swog to purchase your Immaculate bag. Opening it will get you Aquatic Shades.
Then head to the Northwest side of the Waking Shores, dive into the water and take Aquatic Shades to the Bubble Bath.
You will see a Dance Pad, stand on it, and you should see a five-minute debuff on your character while you're dancing. After you get the debuff, you'll end up back on land. Then you will see a Barrel nearby. Click that Barrel, and you will obtain the empty fish Barrel.
Now you need to do the following in order to fill the Barrel with fish.
Step 1 - Get 100 Frigid Floe Fish
You'll fish these up from Iskaara in Azure Span. After getting 100, what we need to do is click the Barrel and put the fish in. Otherwise, you cannot proceed to the next step.
Step 2 – Get 25 Calamitous Carp
The next step is to head over to the Obsidian Citadel and start fishing in the lava to get 25 Calamitous Carp. The drop chance for these is significantly lower. If you're using a proper rod and equipment, you're probably going to have an easier time. After securing all, click the Barrel and put the fish in
Step 3 – Get 1 Kingfin, the Wise Whiskerfish
Lastly, head over to the Algeth’ar Academy in Thaldraszus to fish up one Kingfin, the Wise Whiskerfish. People said it would take them around 300 casts to get this. After you’ve got the item, once again, click the Barrel, and now you should have a full barrel of fish. Then take it back to where you found it, the Waking Shores.
Go to that spot and click the Barrel, and the secret mount Otto should come running out and eat the fish. And then Otto will have a quest. Pick up the quest and hand it in, and now Otto will be in your bag. Otto is pretty unique as it's one of the only mounts where you can have slight customization on it. When you summon it with your Aquatic Shades on, Otto itself will also have the Aquatic Shades on.
