There are many incredibly designed mounts in WoW new expansion. If you're looking to expand your mount collection in Dragonflight, this article will run through some of the easier ones to obtain.
Lizi, Thunderspine Tramper
This will probably be one of the first mounts you pick up in the expansion. To get this, you will need Renown 9 with the Maruuk Centaur, which isn't hard, as you'll be around like five or six Renown once you're done with the main story questline and the leveling experience. You will also need to do the Initiate’s Day Out for Reputation, which is a questline you'll find in Ohn’iri Springs.
Then you'll start getting five days of daily task. These don't need to be done in a row, but every day, you'll have to help Lizi by giving it some food or collecting items. Once you're on that fifth day, you will get the Lizi, Thunderspine Tramper.
Stormhide Salamanther
This is relatively easy to get. You'll have a marked icon on the map for where the invasion is currently taking place. Head out there to kill elite mobs, and grouping up with players would make this process easier. You'll need to get 2000 Elemental Overflow dropped from the mobs. Once you get it, you can go and purchase this mount from the NPC in Valdrakken.
Ivory Trader's Ottuk
You could get this mount while you're leveling up if you're doing dungeon content. There'll be a vendor in Mascara who wants three different rings from three different dungeons - Thunderous Downburst Ring from Nokhud Offensive, the Unstable Loop from Azure Vault, and the Platinum Star Band from Algeth’ar Academy. You can give this vendor any combination of quality, (Normal, Heroic, or Mythic), but you do need one of each.
There is a Dungeon Quest within Valdrakken. Once you do that dungeon, you will be able to pick rewards, and one of those rewards is the Platinum Star Band, which is an easy way.
Once you have the rings, head to the NPC in Iskaara and purchase yourself the mount, Ivory Trader's Ottuk.
Azure and Tamed Skitterfly
To get these, you need Renown 25 with the Dragonscale Expedition. Now in Dragonflight, each Renown takes 2500 Rep, so you will need a lot of Reputation for this. It's not going to be difficult, but it is time-consuming.
How this works is that as you progress the Dragonscale Expedition, you will unlock treasures and get artifacts that you can hand in for 15 Rep a piece. And you'll unlock dirt piles and shovels. You need to purchase the shovels from the vendor, and each of them has five charges. You'll then get plenty of resources back to buy as many shovels as you can.
It is also worth noting that in the later stages of the Renown, you will unlock these kinds of banners that are on top of mountains.
Each banner you click on will give you a one-time reward of 300 Reputation.
Loyal Magmammoth
The last mount is the Loyal Magmammoth. While this is easy to get, it is going to take a bit of time because the best way of getting Reputation for this is through weekly objectives and weekly quests.
To get this mount, you will need to reach rank 6 with Wrathion and Sabellian. The way this works is that each week, you'll be able to pick one of the dragons that you'll gain more Reputation with, and then you'll have a bunch of unlocked weekly quests that you can do within the Obsidian Citadel. Completing those quests will give you Rep with either of the Dragon or both of them. The better approach for this would be to push them both to rank six at the same time.
They both have their own individual vendors. So once they are both rank six, you'll be able to purchase 30 Obsidian Glasses from Wrathion and Netherforged Lavaproof Boots from the Sabellian vendor if you go to those vendors. Then there'll be an NPC nearby called Yries Lightfingers, and they will send you the Magmammoth Harness. Once you have it, we need to hunt down a tamed Magmammoth.
Once you are about to mount it, run around on it and use the Harness item to get the Loyal Magmammoth.
