There is a seasonal event coming up soon in Final Fantasy XIV, and it is called the Moonfire Faire. So, if you are new to the game and haven’t done any event yet, then there are a few things you might be interested in knowing.

Event Items
The Moonfire Faire items are Polar Bear mount, Moonfire Mask Stall, Costa del Hielo, and Grilled Corn.
The biggest reward in this event is the Polar Bear mount, which might be on every player’s to-get list, and probably the hardest one to get.
Moonfire Mask Stall is an outdoor furnisher. It is a stall with an assortment of colorful masks on display, as seen during the Moonfiire Faire festivities.
Costa del Hielo is a delicious chilled dessert created by the confectioner Nekeke. This icy treat is both refreshing and easy on the waistline, as it largely consists of frozen water.

Skill Speed Bonus: +4% (Max 10)
VIT Bonus: +5% (Max 12)
Gear Durability Bonus: +3
EXP Bonus: +3%

Grilled Corn is a sweet millioncorn on the cob, basted with authentic Hingan soy sauce and broiled over an open flame.

The mount, the furnisher, and both food items are untradable and unpurchaseable, which means you can only get them by attending the event.
The official website says, “Certain items available during previous iterations of the event can be purchased via Moonfire Faire vendors.” Based on that, I think there are more new things in the event because all the event items on the list are all with Available for Purchase: No on them.
If there are items that you wish to get, especially the Polar Bear mount, then you have to work hard during the event and get what you want before it ends. Anyways, you should get them sooner than later, just in case you get hold-up by other things in the end and are unable to log in.
Once you have missed the event, then you are unable to get the items anymore. After all, they are seasonal items. Therefore, I hope you can get them in time and good luck!
