The Jester's Festival is a fantastic event during which players can obtain a 100% XP buff and a collection of Jester-themed items. Most importantly, you only need the base game to participate in the event. This year, the event returns on March 29th. If you are new to The Elder Scrolls Online, then Zurga and Tianlein will show you how to participate in the event and what rewards to earn from it.

Introductory Quest

You can pick up the introductory quest: The Jester's Festival in the Crown Store. After accepting the task, go to one of the festival tents in Stonefalls, Auridon, and Glenumbra. Talk to the Jester King or Queen, and you will receive a Pie of Misrule as a reward. The Pie of Misrule is a collectible tool. Activating it grants you a 2-hour 100% experience bonus during the event.

Jester's Festival Daily Quests

There are seven repeatable daily quests. You can complete all these quests with all your characters every day during the event.

•    Royal Revelry (Glenumbra)

•    Springtime Flair (Auridon)

•    A Noble Guest (Stonefalls)

•    Prankster's Carnival (Stonefalls)

•    A Foe Most Porcine (Stormhaven)

•    The King's Spoils (Stormhaven)

•    Getting the Band Together (Stonefalls, Auridon, or Glenumbra)

Jester's Festival Rewards

Jester's Festival Box (Purple-Quality)

Completing daily quests grants Jester's Festival Boxes, from which you have an opportunity to obtain items, including crafting materials, recipes, furnishings, Revelry Pies, and fragments of the new Playful Prankster's Surprise Box memento.

Stupendous Jester's Festival Box (Gold-Quality)

The first Jester's Festival quest you complete each day awards you three Event Tickets and a Stupendous Jester's Festival Box once per day, per account. Besides the rewards the purple version box gives, this gold-quality box has a higher chance of dropping items such as Mirth Shards, Revelry Shards, Sovereign Sow pet fragments, Cadwell's Weapon Outfit Styles, Regal Regalia Armor Outfit Style pages, and Second Seed Outfit Style pages.

*Note that you can only have twelve Event Tickets, so do not forget to spend them at the Impresario in time.

New Items

Jester's Daedroth Suit

This year, the new items added to the game are Jester's Daedroth Suit and Broom and Bucket styles. You will need ten Scraps of Minstrel's Cloth to get the Jester's Daedroth Suit. The Scraps of Minstrel's Cloth and the Broom and Bucket Style pages are obtained from Stupendous Jester's Festival Boxes or the Impresario store.

The Impresario Store

•   Passion's Muse Personality Fragments

•   Broom and Bucket Style Pages

•   Hide Shoulders Ability

•   Impresario's Group Repair Kit

•   Scraps of Minstrel's Cloth

Hide Shoulders Ability

The Hide Shoulders ability is a Collectible allowing you to hide the Shoulders of your armor or costume. Once you purchase the Hide Shoulders ability, it will be unlocked for your account. To use the ability, you have to visit any Outfit Station, choose the shoulder slot, and hide it. Since you use the ability via Outfit Station, you have to pay 500 ESO gold.

After the Jester's Festival ends, you can purchase the Hide Shoulders ability with five Event Tickets from the Impresario's assistant, Philius Dormier, at any Impresario's tent all year long.

Indrik Vendor

In Belkarth, you can find Nenulaure, the Indrik Vendor who offers various items related to Indrik mounts:

•   Nascent Indrik Mount Feathers

•   Dawnwood Indrik Mount Berries

•   Spectral Indrik Mount Berries

•   Haunting Indrik

•   Springtide Indrik

As a basic version of the Indrik Mounts, the Nascent Indrik Mount will disappear when you evolve it into Dawnwood Indrik or Spectral Indrik. If you want to get the Nascent Indrik Mount again, you have to recollect its feathers.
