About D2R Summoner Necromancer and How to Assign Your Skill Points as Summoner Necromancer Novice Players

By Ansley2022-03-22

Necromancer class has gained popularity that can be comparable to the popularity of sorceress in D2R. Especially its summoner necromancer, whose summon spells can use Skeleton to battle, is easy and safe to play at the early period of the game. Using it, players even can drink a cup of tea while playing Diablo 2 Resurrected. So it is especially suitable for novice players. We will talk about some aspects of summoner necromancer and share how to distribute its early game period skill points for novice players this time.

About D2R Summoner Necromancer and How to Assign Your Skill Points as Summoner Necromancer Novice Players

About Summoner Necromancer

1. Advantages

(1) It is a safe and easy way to play because of the skeleton army's help. And players only need to release magic spells to control the war situation.

(2) It has a low requirement for equipment. So even players with D2R low-level armor or weapons are also no problem.

(3) When it casts magic spells, it does not need players to spend many physical stats. So it is a very useful mage.

2. Disadvantages

(1) But without good weapons and Runewords to increase battle power, summoner necromancer just can do low harm to monsters and has low export efficiency in Hell difficulty. So this is a disadvantage for players who lack good items. Instead of farming these by yourself, we recommend using a website like MmoGah to buy D2R Items, which is safe and fast.

(2) Although summoner necromancer is suitable for novice players to pass Acts, it is not suitable for players who want to collect items and work on the later period of the game.

3. Skills

(1) Core Skills: Raise Skeleton, Skeleton Mastery, Corpse Explosion, Amplify Damage

(2) Auxiliary Skills

Attack Type: Golem Mastery, Clay Golem, Decrepify

Defense Type: Dim Vision, Confuse, Summon Resist

(3) Passing Skills: These skills are the ones that players may not use. But, if players want to have core skills and support skills, they must set Passing Skills to open the branch that leads to the skills they want.

How to Assign Skill Points

Although players will separately set 20 skill points to Raise Skeleton, Skeleton Mastery, Clay Golem, and Summon Resist, they shouldn't fill all 20 points to one skill and start the next. For example, they should not begin to assign points to Clay Golem after fully adding 20 points of Raise Skeleton. That's because skeleton assistants have low harm values than Clay Golem, and many skeletons can clog roads in narrow sections. Too many skeletons will weaken the players' attack in the early period of the game. So it does not mean the more skeleton assistants, the better in the early leveling.

You can use the table below as a reference for the early period of the game as to how to assign the skill points:
