Season of Discovery Warrior Guide: Runes, Locations, and How to Get Them

If you are a Warrior in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, you might be interested in the new runes that can enhance your class and spec with additional abilities and passives. There are 12 runes available for each class, split among gloves, legs, and chest slots. Runes are intended to be a major part of the season and will change the way you play the character.

Here Is A list of All the Warrior Runes, Locations, and How to Get Them:

Chest Runes

Gain a 25% bonus for physical damage done for 12 seconds after activating Bloodrage or Berserker Rage.

Horde & Alliance: Go to Raven Hill Cemetery and locate the crypt at (23.5, 35). Inside, turn left and find the hidden lever behind the bookshelf. Pull it to reveal a secret passage. Follow it to the end and defeat the Torturer. Loot the Flagellation rune from his corpse.

The Blood Frenzy rune grants the following effect: "Your melee attacks have a chance to increase your attack speed by 20% and cause you to bleed for 10% of your damage done. This effect stacks up to 5 times. To get this rune, you will need to challenge and defeat the Wandering Swordsman, a rare NPC that can spawn in different locations depending on your faction. He will drop a chest containing the rune after you defeat him.

•  Horde: The Wandering Swordsman can spawn in the Barrens, near the entrance to the Wailing Caverns. You will need to interact with him and accept his duel. He will fight you with a sword and shield and use abilities like Shield Bash, Shield Block, and Heroic Strike. He is level 25 and has about 2000 health.

•  Alliance: The Wandering Swordsman can spawn in Elwynn Forest, near the entrance to the Eastvale Logging Camp. You will need to interact with him and accept his duel.

 

Raging Blow

The Raging Blow rune grants the following effect: "A ferocious strike that deals 100% weapon damage but can only be used while Enrage, Berserker Rage, or Bloodrage is active."

To get this rune, you will need to find and speak to a gnome NPC named Alonso in Ashenvale near the Talondeep Path. He will ask you to collect three items from different zones: a Dragonslayer's Signet from Redridge Mountains, a Dragonslayer's Axe from Wetlands, and a Dragonslayer's Shield from Silverpine Forest. You can find these items by killing elite dragonkin mobs in those zones. Once you have all three items, return to Alonso, and he will give you the Raging Blow rune. He will also invite you to join him in killing a drake that spawns nearby. You can use your new rune to deal extra damage to the drake and get some loot.

Warbringer

The Warbringer rune grants the following effect: "Charge and Intercept generate 10 Rage and reduce the cooldown of your next Heroic Leap by 2 sec. Heroic Leap also generates 10 Rage."

Both Factions: This rune is sold by Grizzby, located in Ratchet. In order to purchase this rune, Grizzby will require you to complete the following pre-quests.

Shredder Turbochargers – It requires you to bring Grizzby 16 https://wow.zamimg.com/images/wow/icons/tiny/inv_gizmo_07.gif Shredder Turbocharger. Dark Iron Ordinance - It requires you to bring Grizzby 20 https://wow.zamimg.com/images/wow/icons/tiny/inv_misc_bomb_02.gif Dark Iron Ordinance.  Fish Oil - It requires you to bring Grizzby 24 https://wow.zamimg.com/images/wow/icons/tiny/inv_potion_64.gif Fish Oil. 

If you don’t want to do these quests, you can purchase WoW Season of Discovery boost to level up your character fast.  

Gloves Runes

Instantly attack the target, causing (1 + Attack power * 45 / 100) damage and healing you for 10% of your maximum health. It is only useable within 20 sec after you kill an enemy that yields experience or honor.

 

•  Orcs & Troll: Inside a chest behind the Warrior trainer in Valley of Trials. Walk around the top of the Valley to get on the cliffs.

•  Human: Inside a chest at the back of the Echo Ridge Mine in Westfall.

•  Dwarf: Follow the quest "Simple Rune" given by Stet Stoutarm in Coldridge Valley. The trolls you're instructed to kill will drop the Victory Rush rune.

 

Devastate

Sunder Armor also deals 60% weapon damage, increased by 6% per application of Sunder Armor already on the target.

 

•  Orc, Troll, and Tauren: Turn in Severed Quilboar, Centaur, and Harpy Heads to Vahi Bonesplitter in Razor Hill.

•  Undead: Hand in Severed Murloc, Gnoll Head, and Bat Heads to Dorac Graves in Undercity ( 48, 70 ).

•  Human: Hand in Severed Kobold, Gnoll, and Murloc Heads to Viktoria Woods in Stormwind Old Town ( 69, 50 ).

•  Dwarf & Gnome: Hand in Pristine Trogg Heart, Severed Wendigo Paw, and Severed Troll Head to Junni Steelpass in Kharanos ( 46, 53 ).

•  Night Elf: Hand in Severed Tiger, Spider, and Owl Heads to Delwynna in Darnassus ( 63.3, 21.8 ).

 

Endless Rage

You generate 25% more Rage from all the damage you deal.

 

•  Orc, Troll, and Tauren: Use the Horde Warbanner in the Crossroads and replace the Alliance banner in Northwatch Hold. Kill the enemy that spawns.

•  Undead: Defeat the Web Wrap inside Skittering Dark Cave ( 34, 7) and defeat Lost Adventure.

•  Human: Use the Alliance Warbanner in Sentinel Hill and replace the Horde banner in the Crossroads. Kill the enemy that spawns.

•  Dwarf & Gnome: Defeat the Web Wrap inside the Mo'Grosh Stronghold in Loch Modan and defeat Lost Adventure.

•  Night Elf: Use the Alliance Warbanner in Auberdine and replace the Horde banner in Camp Taurajo. Kill the enemy that spawns.

Single-Minded Fury

The Single-Minded Fury rune grants the following effect: "While dual-wielding, your Physical damage and movement speed are increased by 10%." To get this rune, you will need to reach an Honored reputation with a certain faction, depending on your faction. Then, you will be able to purchase the rune from the faction quartermaster.

 

•  Horde: You will need to reach Honored reputation with the Durotar Supply and Logistics faction. You can do this by turning in supply crates that can be found in various locations in Durotar, such as the Burning Blade Coven, the Razormane Grounds, and the Tiragarde Keep. You can also get supply crates from killing certain mobs, such as Quilboars, Centaurs, and Harpies. The faction quartermaster is Vahi Bonesplitter, who can be found in Razor Hill.

•  Alliance: You will need to reach Honored reputation with the Azeroth Commerce Authority faction. You can do this by turning in supply crates that can be found in various locations in Elwynn Forest, such as the Fargodeep Mine, the Jasperlode Mine, and the Eastvale Logging Camp. You can also get supply crates from killing certain mobs, such as Kobolds, Gnolls, and Murlocs. The faction quartermaster is Viktoria Woods, who can be found in Stormwind Old Town.

 

Quick Strike

The Quick Strike rune can increase your damage and attack speed. It is engraved on your gloves and can be unlocked by different methods depending on your faction.

 

•  Horde: You can get this rune by killing Troggs in Loch Modan. They have a chance to drop a Trogg Stone Tooth, which you can use to carve the rune on your gloves. You can find the Troggs in the Mo'grosh Stronghold, the Stonesplinter Valley, and the Grizzlepaw Ridge.

•  Alliance: You can get this rune by finding a harpoon on the northern shore of Darkshore. You can use the harpoon to pierce your gloves and engrave the rune.

Legs Runes

The Consumed by Rage rune can increase your damage and attack speed. It is engraved on your legs and can be obtained by killing an elite owl in the Wetlands. Here are the steps to get the runes:

 

•  Go to the Wetlands, a zone in the Eastern Kingdoms. You can get there by taking a boat from Menethil Harbor if you are Alliance or by taking a zeppelin from Orgrimmar if you are Horde.

•  Head to the northern part of the zone, near the entrance to the Talondeep Path. You will see a large rock formation with a cave entrance.

•  Enter the cave and follow the path until you reach the end. You will encounter some hostile mobs along the way, such as spiders, bats, and cultists. You can either fight them or avoid them.

•  At the end of the cave, you will find a large owl named Thelgen's Bane. This is the elite mob that drops the rune. He is level 25 and has about 3000 health. He can also use abilities like Wing Buffet, Screech, and Rake.

•  You will need a group of at least 5 players to kill him, preferably with a tank, a healer, and some DPS. You can use addons like LFG Bulletin Board or ClassicLFG to help you find a group.

•  Once you kill him, loot his corpse, and you will find a chest containing the rune. You can use the rune to engrave your legs and gain the effect of Consumed by Rage.

 

Frenzied Assault

The Frenzied Assault rune can increase your damage and attack speed. It is engraved on your legs and can be obtained by different methods depending on your race.

 

•  Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren: You can get the Frenzied Assault rune by completing a quest given by Vahi Bonesplitter in Razor Hill. He will ask you to kill 10 Quilboars, 10 Centaurs, and 10 Harpies in the Barrens and bring him their heads. You can find these enemies in various locations in the zone, such as the Thorn Hill, the Stagnant Oasis, and the Dry Hills.

•  Undead: You can get this rune by completing a quest given by Dorac Graves in Undercity. He will ask you to kill 10 Murlocs, 10 Gnolls, and 10 Bats in Silverpine Forest and bring him their heads. You can find these enemies in various locations in the zone, such as the Fenris Isle, the Pyrewood Village, and the Deep Elem Mine.

•  Humans: You can get this rune by completing a quest given by Viktoria Woods in Stormwind Old Town. She will ask you to kill 10 Kobolds, 10 Gnolls, and 10 Murlocs in Elwynn Forest and bring her their heads. You can find these enemies in various locations in the zone, such as the Fargodeep Mine, the Jasperlode Mine, and the Crystal Lake.

•  Dwarves and Gnomes: You can get this rune by completing a quest given by Junni Steelpass in Kharanos. She will ask you to kill 10 Troggs, 10 Wendigos, and 10 Trolls in Dun Morogh and bring her their hearts, paws, and heads. You can find these enemies in various locations in the zone, such as the Mo'grosh Stronghold, the Grizzled Den, and the Frostmane Hold.

•  Night Elves: You can get the Frenzied Assault rune by completing a quest given by Delwynna in Darnassus. She will ask you to kill 10 Tigers, 10 Spiders, and 10 Owls in Darkshore and bring her their heads. You can find these enemies in various locations in the zone, such as the Cliffspring River, the Mist's Edge, and the Twilight Vale.

 

Furious Thunder

The Furious Thunder rune can increase your damage and attack speed. It is engraved on your legs and can be obtained by different methods depending on your race.

 

•  Alliance: Dun Morogh: Dropped from Fyodi, Lurkmane; Elwynn Forest: Dropped from Goldtooth, Mother Fang; Teldrassil: Obtained inside Gnarlpine Cache in the Barrow Den

•  Horde: Durotar: Dropped from Gazz'uz, Sarkoth, Zalazane; Mulgore: Dropped from Mazzranache, Arra'chea, Lurkmane; Tirisfal Glades: Dropped from Gillgar near Solliden Farmstead
