The High Seas of Tamriel event is part of the Update 51 patch, launching on September 30th and running until October 14th. This limited-time event promises a plethora of rewards, including trade bars, new outfit style pages, a mount, leads for nautical items, and more. Players can immerse themselves in this maritime adventure by accepting the High Seas of Tamriel quest from the Crown Store for free or by traveling to the Gold Coast zone to speak directly with ghost called Baron-Captain Olsien Guy Mard.
Embark on a Nautical Quest
To kick off the event, players must complete a short introductory quest given by the ghost Baron Captain. This quest serves as a gateway to unlocking daily event quests that will take you on exhilarating journeys across the high seas. The quest is divided into two main parts. First, players must engage in combat with an enemy vessel while defending against boarders. Successfully completing this challenge allows players to collect their loot and prepare for the next phase: exploring the sea floor.
Underwater Exploration and Rewards
Once on the sea floor, players can move around, battle enemies, and explore various areas to gather loot and complete their quest objectives. A unique feature of this event is the ability to regain your shield by standing inside a clam if it is lost during exploration. After collecting all available treasures, players return to the surface to conclude their quest.
The first event quest completed each day rewards players with a gold-quality Deep Plunder Box, while subsequent quests grant an epic-quality Deep Plunder Box. These boxes contain a variety of rewards, including TESO gold coins, motifs, weapon style pages for the Abecean Sea Privateer style, leads, materials, furnishings, and fragments for the Suncleft Grotto Ornaug Mount.
Additional Opportunities and Rewards
Throughout the event, players can earn leads for various nautical items. As with other ESO events, gold boxes offer better chances for superior rewards. Opening a gold-quality box daily also grants 300 trade bars, which can be used to purchase items from the Impressario. Available items include fragments for the Roseblood Bat pet and its morphs, fragments for the Grotto of Desires house, weapon style pages for the Abecean Sea Privateer style, group repair kits, and companion guild commendations.
The Impressario's assistant and Indrik Vendor will also be present to offer their seasonal wares, providing even more opportunities to enhance your ESO experience.
