Blizzard has just dumped a big announcement on World of Warcraft Classic: WoW Classic, the retro re-release of WoW in its near-original state, will launch on August 27, 2019.
Blizzard announced the release date alongside a nifty collector's edition, but you no need to wait until the summer to try out the game. The closed beta is starting on May 15. Participants will be selected from a small pool of existing WoW players. Subsequent stress tests will run regularly from May through July. Here mmogah as a professional wow classic gold store would like to share the important announcement with wow fans. Some content is quoted from the office site.
WoW Classic is a "vanilla" version of the once super popular MMORPG launching on Aug 27. Players will be able to play the 1.12 version of the game known as the "Drums of War" update.
As the popular MMORPG saw millions of players left over the years, WoW fans began creating their own private servers offering the "classic" WoW experience that didn't include any of the multiple expansions or updates over the course of the game's lifetime.
WoW Classic Testing Schedule
Along with revealing the WoW Classic release date, Blizzard also listed plans for both a beta and stress test of the game. Players who opt-in for the testing on their account manager page and have an active subscription will be randomly selected for the beta starting from May 15. Then the developer will have three stress tests where players can log in to play the game for a short period of time on the following dates:
Stress test 1: May 22-23
Stress test 2: June 19-20
Stress test 3: July 18-19
Subsequent stress tests will extend the opportunity to even more players. Level caps will also be in place to ensure the “stress” in “stress test”.
Choosing dedicated players who meet select criteria from both the WoW Classic beta opt-in and the standard Warcraft beta opt-in to fill the pool of beta and stress test participants. Participants will also need to have an active subscription or active game time on their Battle.net Account.
Create Your Character
If you’re eager to claim your character name in WoW Classic, take note that office site will open character creation on August 13. Players with an active subscription or game time on their account will be able to create up to three characters per WoW account. There will be more information on realm names closer to launch, and you’ll have plenty of time to figure out your plans for realm domination.
World of Warcraft Classic lets you play the game and enjoy the experience, as it existed almost 15 years ago. Blizzard says it considers that era to be the correct balance of the game resembling its original launch state while also having ironed out some of the rough spots of launch. This version is also including some updates under the hood, such as modern server infrastructure and Battle.net social features.
Although we’ve still got a couple of months before the final release. But at last, an official way to get into vanilla servers is upon us. You can buy wow classic gold or wow classic items once wow classic releases.
