The new Rift of the Damned update in Riders of Icarus will bring several new pieces of content to the mount-centric MMO, and players are ready to enter the Titrael Rift. However do you have enough ROI Gold for playing this? Who knows, so we need to buy some ROI Gold when we are playing the new update.
The zone is designed for high level players who have a flying mount given that the entire zone takes place in the air. This means you either bring a wingsuit, a parachute or a Pegasus. But given that you’ll be fighting against mythological deities, you better bring a winged beast to an air fight. The new update will feature an all new zone called the Tritael Rift, which sees gamers fighting through an isle that floats above a bottomless sea where they will fight amongst the unending battle between the Goddess of Light and the God of Ruin.
The new update will increase the game’s level cap and brings new quests, a new level 39 dungeon, new class skills and several new void mounts to conquer including such cuddly-sounding creatures as Paragas the Mad and Karasha the Dark One. The titular Rift of the Damned is the first fully airborne location in Riders of Icarus, and challenges players to fight back voidable forces that populate a region created by a titanic clash of gods.
The Tritael Rift was created when the powerful forces of the Goddess Ellora collided with those of the God of Ruin, Zelnaris, creating a dark shattered land full of floating crumbling isles. Now the power of Ellora is fading, and the balance could be broken, causing destruction to Hakanas! Join the Pegasus Knights and explore this mysterious place littered with the corpses of dragons and titans. Work together to prevent the disaster!
Tritael Rift flies high in the sky and came into existence because of a clash between the Goddess of Light and the God of Ruin. Players can expect to team up with the Pegasus Knights in the upcoming quests. The Tritael Rift will also contain all sorts of new quests to complete, along with a new dungeon known as The Breach. The new zones, new quests, new dungeons and new content is also topped off with new mounts. A flying space whale? Dang, now that’s how you travel the multi-verse in style.
The new mounts will specifically be located in the new Tritael Rift, where players will be able to battle and tame Void creatures. Sounds kind of cool, eh? Some of the new mounts include the Voidbeast Drauph, the Blade, Paragas the Mad, and Karasha the Dark One. Each of them will require a lot of skills and dedication to overcome.
Highlights from the patch include the following:
New Quests: Players can join the cause of the legendary Pegasus Knights and battle against the agents of chaos that still plague this land.
New Dungeon: The Breach, a challenging, high-level dungeon available at level 39, is the center of the Evil Spirit army, inhabited by the souls of those slain by the heroes of Hakanas. Players must face off against two separate bosses in order to defeat the dungeon and claim rewards including new high-level equipment and new ghostly mounts.
New Mounts: In Tritael Rift, players will encounter and tame new "Void" creatures, warped by their time spent in the damned realm. These fearsome creatures include Voidbeast Drauph, Blade, Paragas the Mad, and Karasha the Dark One—each proving more challenging to conquer than the last.
New Zone: Floating high above a black and bottomless sea, filled with the ruins and bones of a war long since forgotten, Tritael Rift was blasted into existence in a cataclysmic clash between the Goddess of Light and the God of Ruin. Tritael Rift is Riders of Icarus' first entirely airborne zone.
I really like the taming system and the ability to have both mounts and pets that fulfill different roles in the game. I don’t think building the game on top of the Cry Engine was the best of choices, but the game looks gorgeous nonetheless.
