Dear exiles, today the Professional Gaming Store MmoGah will share Path of Exile Events with you. I will share you the upcoming timelines if you want to continue to complete your personal league goals. Now let’s see the details.
EXILECON
As GGG mentioned, on August 17th PDT, they'll be hosting the last of the ExileCon Race Event Qualifiers. This race will dictate who is the fourth (final) challenger will be in the ultimate showdown at ExileCon later this year.
The star-studded lineup of past and present Path of Exile Streamers and content creators attending the convention, including Kripparrian, NeverSink, Engineering Eternity, Quin69, Rhykker, Zizaran, Mathil, Raiz, Nugiyen, Havoc, Tarkecat, ZiggyD and Amie. Also attending ExileCon are many other invited guests, such as David Brevik, Erich Schaefer, Max Schaefer and even a few Path of Exile voice actors.
An important information for you attendees is that New Zealand has just introduced a system where you must apply for an "NZeTA" online before arriving in the country. As far as we can see, almost all ExileCon visitors from overseas must apply for one. We recommend doing this as soon as possible. Thankfully, the process does not look difficult.
If you are not able to attend the convention, don’t worry, as GGG will be livestreaming ExileCon's keynote presentation. So mark your calendars and prepare for some big announcements! They can't wait to share with you what they've been working on.
EXPANSIONS
Around August 20th PDT, GGG will announce the 3.8.0 expansion. The broad scope of this release is a new challenge league whose name is not on the list, various improvements to older master content (things like making Sulphite and Betrayal state shared between all your characters in the league), some systems changes they're not yet ready to hint at (which should improve some areas that the community have given them vocal feedback on (not trade)) and all the usual new items, archetypes, gems and so on that you expect from a Path of Exile expansion.
They expect the Legion league to end on PC at 3pm September 2nd PDT. The league will end when 3.8.0 goes live for console players.
Their tentative release date for the new expansion is September 6th PDT. Keep in mind all these dates may change as they get closer to release but things are looking good so far. They will keep you posted as these dates approach to let you know if anything changes.
They plan to kick off the convention with a keynote announcing both December's 3.9.0 expansion and the future 4.0.0 mega-expansion. Attendees will be able to play demos of both announced expansions, watch talks given by GGG developers, meet their favorite streamers and invited guests, buy Path of Exile merchandise, and celebrate Path of Exile with over a thousand other community members.
