Madden 19 launches August 10 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Pre-order customers can get the game on August 7, and EA Access subscribers (XB1 only) can play the full game as soon as August 2. If you’re strongly considering buying this year's game, here are 10 features/attributes about the game that you should know.
1. It's on PC
Yes, Madden 19 is coming to PC. For the first time since Madden 08 (previously read Madden 07), the franchise returns to PC. Hopefully, the geniuses that mod sports games like NBA 2K, FIFA, Grand Theft Auto and WWE 2K will get their hands on Madden 19.
2. Real-Player Motion
Every EA sports game that releases these days is seemingly bolstered by Real-Player Motion technology, and Madden 19 is no different. However, the impact of RPM on each game in the library seems to vary. You'll likely have to have Madden 19 in your hands before you will know how much RPM affects the game, but just know, it's one of the major features EA is offering with Madden 19.
3. New Player Ratings
To further differentiate players, on July 9 EA introduced 12 new player rating categories:
4. Antonio Brown and The 7 99-Overall Rated Players
Antonio Brown is the Standard Edition cover athlete for this year's game. Terrell Owens was selected to be the cover athlete for the Hall of Fame Edition, but his issues with the HOF have seemingly trickled down to EA as he hasn't been a part of the game's promotion for nearly a month.
Brown is one of 7 players who will be rated a 99 overall when the game launches. The other six are listed below:
5. Player Archetypes
This year, Madden 19 will have player archetypes as many other sports video games. The system is designed to incentivize virtual general managers to find players that fit with their coach's new offensive and defensive schemes.
Execution will be the biggest factor in this feature's success.
6. Create Draft Classes
Finally, EA will allow gamers to create their own draft classes. Ever since the cancellation of the NCAA Football series, there has been a void within the NFL Draft feature and functionality. Hopefully, the ability to create draft classes will close that gap.
7. Longshot is Back
Whether you loved it or hated it last year, the Longshot story is back. Colt Cruise and Devin Wade return to embark on the second piece of their journey.
8. MUT Solo Battles
EA is adding a new wrinkle to the MUT Solo universe. You'll be able to compete against other MUT players in weekly Solo Challenge tournaments. There will be a leaderboard reward system. The Solo Battles will feature custom squads from Madden Devs, NFL athletes, celebrities and YouTubers and Twitch streamers.
MmoGah is an online shop for gamers to buy digital assets such as in-game currency, items, accounts, and power leveling services. MUT coins for Madden 19 will be added to MmoGah after the new game releases. Our reps are ready to support you 24/7, 365 days via LiveChat, Email, SMS, Skype and social media.
9. MUT Squads Vs. CPU
Co-op play in Madden 19 gets another layer with the addition of MUT Squads vs. CPU. Essentially, you'll get an opportunity to hone your co-op skills against a CPU with rewards available. I think it could be a great way to practice as well, but we'll know for sure once we get an opportunity to play it live.
10. New Controls
There are some new controls available to gamers this year. The One-Cut, Hesitation and Strafe Burst are just a few of the new weapons you'll have on both sides of the ball. It might take gamers a few training sessions to get a grasp of these commands. It'll depend on the player's stick skills and the responsiveness of the game's controls.
