How the FC 27 Gallery Works

Sets receive grades ranging from D to S, with S being the highest. To earn Gallery Tokens, a set generally needs to reach at least a B grade. This makes smaller clubs and easier-to-complete sets useful targets when the main goal is to collect tokens quickly.
Focus on Small Clubs First
Not every club is equally useful for a Gallery grind. Large clubs with deep squads can require many high-rated cards to reach a strong grade, while smaller clubs often have much lower requirements.
For example, clubs with only a handful of golds, silvers, and bronzes can sometimes reach an A or S grade without requiring expensive cards. Birmingham, Charlton, and similar smaller clubs are particularly accessible targets.
The key is to check a club's requirements before buying cards. If a set contains relatively few players, it may offer a much easier path to a high grade.
Use First-Owner Cards Whenever Possible
First-owner cards can make a major difference to a set's bonus score. Before spending coins, check which clubs already have several first-owner players in the club.
A team with a large number of first-owner cards may reach a higher grade for much less effort than another team with similar players but no first-owner bonus.
Different nations can also contribute to the bonus score. When filling a set, avoid automatically choosing players from the same nation if cheaper alternatives can provide more variety.
Buy, Submit, and Sell
One of the main methods is buying cards specifically to add them to the Gallery and then selling them again.
Once a card has been added to a set, it does not necessarily need to remain in the club. This allows players to buy cards, register them in the Gallery, and immediately list them back on the Transfer Market.
The drawback is the Transfer Market tax, so this method costs some FC 27 Ultimate Team coins. Card prices can also rise when more players start grinding the Gallery. For that reason, avoid buying an entire club at once. Check prices first and focus on sets that provide enough tokens to justify the coin cost.
Check Club Sets Across Different Leagues
After working through the easiest clubs, move on to league sets. These can provide another source of Gallery Tokens, especially if expensive cards have already been purchased for individual club sets.
A useful strategy is to regrade league sets after completing several clubs. Even reaching a C grade can become worthwhile for certain leagues because the combined value of the cards may push the score over an important threshold.
This means a card bought for one club can sometimes help with a league set as well, giving the same purchase additional value within the Gallery.
Don't Ignore Women's Teams
Some FC 27 sets include both men's and women's players. This can provide more options when trying to reach a target grade.
When working on clubs or leagues that contain both, check the full player pool rather than looking only at men's cards. Silver players from different nations can be especially useful for increasing the bonus score without spending heavily on high-rated cards.
Rarity Sets Can Also Add Tokens
The Gallery is not limited to club and league collections. There are also sets based on card rarities and special categories, including Team of the Week, Heroes, Holographic cards, Squad Foundations, and Starter Set cards.
Some of these sets can require significantly more coins. Holographic Hero and Icon cards, for example, may be expensive, but buying one temporarily can help improve a set before selling it again.
Starter Set and Squad Foundations sets can be easier alternatives. Completing the relevant objectives and Gallery requirements can help push certain sets to high grades and generate additional tokens.
A Simple Gallery Token Farming Routine
For players who want to build tokens efficiently, the process can be simplified into a few steps:
Check your first-owner cards. Look for clubs where you already own several players.
Target small clubs. Prioritize teams with limited player pools and low grading requirements.
Compare card prices. Don't chase a set if its cards are heavily inflated.
Use different nations. Nation variety can improve the bonus score.
Buy cards temporarily. Add them to the Gallery, then sell them when possible.
Regrade completed sets. Cards collected for clubs may also help with league sets.
Look at men's and women's squads. Both can contribute to eligible sets.
Move into rarity sets. Consider Heroes, Holographics, Squad Foundations, and other categories when the cost makes sense.
Is the Gallery Grind Worth Doing?
The Gallery can take time, especially when many cards have to be searched for, purchased, submitted, and relisted. It might take a few hours to complete the process and reach roughly 750 tokens, with the exact cost and results depending on the market.
The most important point is that prices are not fixed. Once a particular club becomes popular for Gallery grinding, its silver and bronze cards can become more expensive. A method that costs a few hundred coins per card one day may require considerably more later.
For that reason, the Gallery is better approached as an ongoing project rather than something that has to be completed in one session. Start with the cheapest high-grade sets, use cards already in the club, and gradually work toward the more expensive collections.
Spend Your Gallery Tokens Carefully
Once enough Gallery Tokens have been collected, they can be used in the token store for special player rewards and other available items. It is recommended to save tokens toward higher-cost player options rather than spending them immediately.
The best target will depend on the squad's needs and which players are available in the store. Before spending a large token balance, check the available options and consider whether a player fits the current formation and squad.
The FC 27 Gallery adds another layer to Ultimate Team progression, combining card collecting, Transfer Market trading, and long-term rewards. With careful spending and a focus on easy-to-grade sets, players can steadily build Gallery Tokens while keeping unnecessary coin losses under control.
