One of the most exciting events is returning to The Elder Scrolls Online this June! Nessaeria's video guide provides all the information you need about the Zeal of Zenithar event, including how to participate, what new rewards to expect, and the best strategies to maximize your experience during the event.
Event Overview
The Zeal of Zenithar in-game event is one of the highlights of ESO. It's easy to earn rewards, whether you prefer honest work or a more dubious approach. This event will return on June 26th at 10:00 AM Eastern and run until July 8th at 10:00 AM Eastern.
To get started, visit the Crown Store to pick up the quest for free, or head directly to the quest giver near Belkarth in the event tent area. You can also access any Impresario tent near major cities to take a portal to Craglorn.
Once you arrive in Belkarth, head to the event area to begin the introductory quest. Speak to Amminus Varo to kick things off. If you've completed this quest in previous years, you won't need to do it again to unlock the daily quest. However, completing it again will reward you with an additional Zenithar Parcel box.
After finishing the introductory quest at least once, you'll unlock the Zenithar daily quest, Honest Toil. Speak to Fasaria, who is located near Amminus in Belkarth, to start. She will ask you to pray at the statue of Zenithar or allow her to pray for you, and then you'll need to complete one of three tasks to receive your parcel:
1. Gain a level or earn a Champion Point.
2. Unearth an antiquity or treasure chest.
3. Spend 10,000 gold at Guild Traders.
You only need to complete one of these tasks. Once done, return to Fasaria to finish the quest. The first time you complete this quest each day, you'll receive three event tickets and a gold-quality Zenithar Sublime Parcel, which typically contains better rewards than the standard Zenithar's Delightful Parcels (purple quality).
How to Earn Event Boxes
In addition to the introductory quest, there are several other ways to earn parcels during the event:
• Complete any Master Writ per discipline, per account, each day (only one box per day).
• Your first daily Crafting Writ completed each day will reward you with a box (only one per account).
• Defeat a World Boss while grouped with a player from one of your Guilds to receive a box.
• Participating in World events while being grouped with a Guild member will also yield a box drop.
• You have a chance to earn a Zenithar's Delightful Parcel box by completing rounds in group-based arena challenges or cycles in the Infinite Archive while you are teamed up with a Guild member.
• Earn a box by completing the final round of a group-based arena challenge or defeating Tho'at Replicanum in the Infinite Archive while you are teamed up with a Guild member.
• If honesty isn't your style, you can also pickpocket citizens across Tamriel or loot strongboxes and thieves droves for a small chance to obtain a Zenithar parcel.
Event Box Rewards
The new Zenithar Battlesmith Outfit Style armor
Below are the potential rewards you will get from the event reward boxes:
• Tradeable outfit style pages for the new Zenithar Battlesmith Outfit Style armor.
• If you already have a Zenithar battle style page for the day, you might receive a style page from past Zeal of Zenithar events, such as Gold Road Dragoon Outfit Style armor, High Rock Spellsword Outfit Style armor, Kwama Miner's Kit Armor Outfit Style, or Ashen Militia Weapon Outfit Style.
• Durable crafting materials, provisioning ingredients, alchemy reagents, runestones, or motif style items.
• Crafting boosters, which may include a gold-tier booster or research time scroll.
• Furnishing or Provisioning recipes.
• Repair kits, siege repair kits, or a chance for an Impresario group repair kit.
• Treasure maps, survey reports, and Imperial City vault keys.
• Companion gear or a random currency pouch containing gold or Tel Var Stones (with a small chance for a jackpot of 100,000 currency).
Both boxes can contain any of the above, but the sublime parcels from your first daily quest completion have a higher chance of yielding valuable rewards.
Items to Buy with Event Tickets
The Impresario will have several items available for purchase with your event tickets, including:
• All three fragments of the Stonewisp of Truth and Law pet.
• All three fragments of the Robes of Truth and Law Costume, including the new Torc of Wisdom.
• New bound style pages for the Zenithar Battlesmith Outfit Style Armor.
• Group repair kits.
• Companion Guild Commendations.
Additionally, Philius Dormier will offer items from past events, including:
• All three fragments of the Unstable Morpholith Pet.
• All three fragments of the Deadland Scorcher Skin.
• All three fragments of the Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet.
• All three fragments of the Scales of Akatosh Skin.
• All three fragments of the Passion Dancer's Blossom Pet.
• All three fragments of the Passion's Muse Personality.
• Hide Shoulders Style Page.
You can also use your event tickets to buy feathers from the Indrik Vendor. She offers Nascent Indrik feathers, which are essential for morphing into the different versions of the Indrik mounts. Currently, the vendor also has Luminous Indrik berries and Icebreath Indrik berries in stock. Additionally, the Shimmering Indrik pet and the Rimedusk Indrik pet are available for this event.
Event Global Passives
If you're still not excited about the Zenithar event, there are additional global effects to enjoy during this time:
• Wayshrine travel costs are reduced by 75% across Tamriel.
• Repair costs at vendors are reduced by 50%.
• Crafting Inspiration gain from all sources is increased by 100%.
• Vendor prices across Tamriel are reduced by 10%, including houses for purchase. If you've been considering purchasing a house with ESO gold, now is the perfect opportunity to save some money!
Event Farming Tips
For the best strategies for farming during this event, there are a few different approaches you can take, which are somewhat unconventional since the global bonuses differ from the typical increased experience or node boosts that are usually seen.
1. Crafting Writs
A fantastic way to maximize your efforts during this event is to go through your characters and complete as many Crafting Writs as possible. This method not only helps you earn gold but also provides additional rewards in the form of bonus boxes from your crafting activities.
Tip: Don't want to craft on all your characters? Prioritize the ones that are still leveling their crafting since this event also has a Crafting Inspiration boost.
2. Master Writs
Make sure to complete any Master Writs you have, especially the ones that allow for one per discipline, per day, per account. This will help you get the most out of your boxes and clear out those Master Writs that have been gathering dust in your storage. With the envelopes for new Master Writs, it's a perfect opportunity to declutter your inventory and get rid of older, unstacked Writs.
3. Guild Activities
Engaging with your Guild members can enhance your experience. If you're already involved, consider organizing a World Boss fight or participating in arenas and the Infinite Archive. This not only allows you to earn Fortunes and new gear from the latest patch but also helps you collect Zenithar boxes.
Tips: Not in a Guild? You can join one by looking in the Guild Finder. Guilds are a great way to get help in the game.
The Infinite Archive has some great rewards you can get using Fortunes earned on your runs. Fortunes are a unique currency earned in the Infinite Archive.
4. Blackrose Prison
Blackrose Prison is an excellent source of XP, making it a great venue for leveling up the new skill lines introduced with Subclassing. You can also gain valuable boxes while participating in this activity.
5. Global Passives
Take advantage of the global passives available during the event. With Crafting Inspiration increased by 100%, it's a prime time to level up your crafting characters. This bonus makes the process less tedious and helps you generate even more gold through Crafting Writs.
6. Vendor Prices
Now is the perfect time to purchase items with your AP or Tel Var Stones. There are some exciting polymorphs, gear, and other items that can be converted into gold. For more information on maximizing your earnings with AP or Tel Var Stones, check out this video:
Tip: You can find PvP vendors in the Cyrodiil base or the Imperial City sewer base. The Golden is a special Cyrodiil vendor selling gear, and she only appears on weekends.
7. Rare Furnishing Plans
You can also obtain rare furnishing plans from the event reward boxes, which can drop any furnishing or provisioning recipes in the game, with no limits. If you're lucky, you might find a rare furnishing plan that can be sold for a significant amount of gold.
8. Selling Items
Items like gold-tiered boosters or research scrolls, if not bound to your account, can be sold in Guild Traders or zone chat for profit. The same goes for Treasure Maps, which tend to sell for a good amount, especially those of the newer DLCs. Check which Treasure Maps you have and consider listing them in your Guild Trader if you don't want to complete them yourself.
9. Style Pages
Style pages can be a nice addition to your inventory. While they generally don't sell for much due to their high drop rates, if the drop rate is lower this year, they may fetch a higher price. Keep an eye on the market and consider selling them for gold.
