Your path to three stars, high scores, and faster progression.

If you want to climb leaderboards fast, secure high Trial scores, and push your Raider progression without wasting hours, this guide breaks down everything you need. It teaches you how to reliably three-star every weekly challenge, farm points efficiently, avoid common mistakes, and optimize your routes. These strategies apply to Week 5 Trials and to future rotations as well.

Players looking to speed up progression often pair these strategies with an Arc Raiders boost or look for ways to buy Arc Raiders coins to unlock gear faster. Whether you spend or grind, the goal is the same: become consistent, efficient, and competitive in every Trial.

1. Core Trial Strategy Every Player Should Know

Play during Major Map Conditions, not minor ones

Only three conditions count:

  • Hidden Bunker
  • Night Raids
  • Electromagnetic Storm

Lush Blooms, Harvesters, Electrified Husks, and other minor conditions do nothing for Trials.

If you want to hit top leaderboards, start later in the week

Your first Trial run places you into a random 100-player leaderboard.
If you start early on Monday, you’ll be grouped with grinders.
If you start on Tuesday or Wednesday, you’re more likely to face casual players.

This doesn’t affect three-star completion; only leaderboard ranking is affected.

Hidden Bunker is the strongest condition overall

Why:

  • Match duration rises from 30 minutes to 40 minutes
  • Enemy spawns concentrate better
  • You can farm safely from a few broken positions

For almost every “damage X” or “kill X” Trial, Hidden Bunker is the place to go. If you want to maximize value without needing to buy Arc Raiders coins, Hidden Bunker farming is the most efficient method in the game.

2. Trial: Damaging Rocketeers

Rocketeers reward about 2,640 points per kill when using Wolfpack explosives.
Two kills are enough for three stars.

Fast Solo Strategy

Bring 3–4 Wolfpacks.
Find Rocketeers on any major condition map and nuke two of them. Done.

High-Point Farm Strategy (Hidden Bunker)

Use the Launch Tower rafter spot:

  • One floor above the bottom
  • Full view of the entire map
  • You can tag Rocketeers, Wasps, Hornets, Snitches, and even big ARC units if not on the Hidden Bunker

Loadout

  • Jupiter or Hawker (Jupiter legendary is ideal)
  • Plenty of traps (you’ll need them)

Why this works

Rocketeers can be seen and shot from almost anywhere.
But this is an aggressive PVP hotspot.
There are:

  • 3 ziplines
  • 3 ladders
  • 1 staircase

Trap them all, or you will get rushed.
If you can hold the position, you’ll farm more Rocketeers here than on any other location.

3. Trial: Download Data In Hidden Bunker

This Trial absolutely requires the Hidden Bunker map event. No other map counts.

How the Bunker opens

The lobby must complete all four antennas:

  • North
  • South
  • East
  • West

Each antenna:
Interact → clear Wasp/Hornet wave → interact again.

Inside the Bunker

There are eight computers:

  • 7 on the main floor
  • 1 upstairs on the southwest ramp

Each one gives 800 points.
The Trial caps at 6,400 points.

Important detail most players miss

If a terminal locks and turns red, it will reboot.
You can reuse the same computer after a few minutes.

The entire community is friendly down here.

Almost nobody grieves because everyone wants max points, and the space is tight.
Do this solo if possible. It is calm, fast, and safe.

4. Trial: Search First Wave Husks

Husks are dead Arc bodies embedded in the environment, not freshly killed enemies.
They include:

  • Rocketeer husks
  • Bear husks
  • Hornet husks, etc.

Each husk gives 800 points.

Best map: Spaceport

Spaceport’s outer wall zones have clusters of husks with almost no PVP pressure.

What to bring

  • 10+ Adrenaline Shots
You’ll move nonstop, and adrenaline lets you chain sprint the whole time.

Group vs solo

Group is better because you cover more ground.
But solo still hits 20k+ easily if you keep moving.

Interactive maps are unreliable here. Better to roam and let your adrenaline guide you. This Trial is great for players who want fast progression without needing to buy Arc Raiders coins because the returns are strong even for low-gear players.

5. Trial: Damaging Snitches

Snitches reward 600 points each.
Seven kills give you your three-star threshold.

Best farming location: South Trench Tower (Hidden Bunker)

This is the consistent, safe spot.

How to set up

  • Zip up to the top platform
  • Mine the climb path so players cannot sneak up
  • You are standing directly beside 3–4 Snitch spawn zones

Snitches wander into view constantly. You can clear 20–30 per run without moving.

Bring the right sniper

  • Renegade or Osprey
  • Fully repaired
  • Plenty of ammo

Avoid weapons that break mid-run or burn ammo too fast.

Bonus: Rocketeers spawn near this tower

If Hidden Bunker is active, you can do both Trials from one position.

6. Trial: Damage Ground-Based Arc Enemies

You only want to kill:

  • Bastions
  • Bombadeers
  • Leapers

Pops, Ticks, and Fireballs give almost no points (example: Fireball kill = 32 points).

Best method: Hidden Bunker, Departure Building Roof

Hidden Bunker stacks all large ARC enemies on top of the Bunker itself.
If you stand on the Departure roof, you get all the big spawns at once.

Solo or Group?

  • Groups can secure 40–50k points here.
  • Solo works, but you’ll be sharing kills with every other solo who finds the spot.

Even with shared kills, players report 15k+ points with barely any effort.

Weapons to use

  • Holecrackers (ideal)
  • Otherwise, Snap Blasts or a heavy-ammo weapon like Anvil

Two Bastions usually secure your 3-star score.

7. Practical Loadout Checklist

For all Trials

  • Adrenaline shots (carry many)
  • Repair kits for snipers
  • Backup ammo
  • Traps for PVP hotspots

Recommended weapons

  • Jupiter / Hawker (Rocketeers and multi-target)
  • Renegade / Osprey (Snitches)
  • Holecrackers or heavy ammo (Ground-based ARC)

8. When you should play each Trial

If you care about:

Three-Stars:

Play whenever the correct major condition appears.

Leaderboards / High-Point Farm:

Play later in the week (Tue/Wed onward).
You’ll avoid leaderboard monsters and score easier promotions.

Max Points:

Whenever Hidden Bunker appears, drop everything.
It is the game’s strongest Trials environment.

Final Thoughts

Trials look random every week, but they reward players who understand spawn behavior, map conditions, and position control. Once you know where to stand and what to bring, hitting 4,000+ points in minutes becomes routine. Hidden Bunker carries most of the weight, but careful loadout planning and smart timing push you to the top of your weekly leaderboard. If you mix smart play with optional tools like an Arc Raiders boost, you can cut the grind dramatically and stay competitive week after week.
