Is MmoGah safe to buy from? We have served players since 2006, and protecting your account, your payments and your personal data is part of every order. Here is how we do it, in plain language.
At a glance
Stored in the United States
Your account and order data, and their backups, are kept on Google Cloud servers in the US.
Encrypted connections and storage
Every page is protected with HTTPS, and the data we store is encrypted too.
Card numbers never stored
Card details go straight to our payment processors. We never receive or keep your full card number or CVV.
Only what delivery needs
An order needs your email and your in-game delivery details. Your phone number is optional.
Where your data is stored
When you buy from MmoGah, your account and order data are stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States, not in an overseas data center. Our backups stay in the US too.
Our website is protected by Cloudflare, which helps block attacks and abusive traffic before it reaches us.
Encryption
Every page of our website is protected with HTTPS encryption: look for the padlock in your browser's address bar.
The data we store, including backups, is encrypted.
Your password is stored in a protected, unreadable form, so not even our staff can see it.
Payments
When you pay by card, your card details go directly to our payment processor. Your full card number and security code (CVV) never reach our servers.
If you save a card, we keep only a masked version (such as the last four digits) so you can recognize it.
You can also pay with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, crypto and other methods, each handled by its own provider.
We check orders with fraud-prevention services to stop stolen cards and protect buyers. Now and then we may ask you to verify an order before delivery.
What we collect, and why
We ask only for what we need to deliver your order, contact you about it and prevent fraud.
- Email address: for your receipt, order updates and support.
- In-game delivery details: such as your character name and server, so our trader can find you.
- Optional: your phone number, name and order notes, only if you choose to add them.
- Fraud protection: your IP address, country and browser type are recorded with each order.
- If you create an account: your email, username, and the IP address and country you signed up from. Your password is stored in a protected, unreadable form.
Most gold and item orders are delivered in-game and don't need your game account password. If a service needs access to your game account, such as piloted boosting, the order form asks for it. Change that password once your order is complete.
Who can see your data
The trader who delivers your order sees only what delivery needs, such as your character name, server, the item and any delivery note you add. Traders never see your email, phone number, payment details or IP address.
Trusted service providers that help us run the store (payments, fraud prevention, email, live chat and analytics) receive the data their service needs.
We don't sell or rent your personal information to other companies for their own marketing.
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and measure how the site and our ads perform. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Keep your account safe
- Turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app in Account › Security Settings.
- Sign-in is protected against password-guessing and bot attacks.
- Password resets use a one-time code sent to your email.
- Never share your password or two-factor codes with anyone, including people who claim to be MmoGah staff. Our official channels are live chat on this website, support@mmogah.com and our official Discord.
Report a security concern
If you notice suspicious activity on your account or think you have found a security issue, email support@mmogah.com with "Security" in the subject line.
