Welcome back to Overlord Alex's Gaming. After covering the usual beginner guides, today we're diving into something different — hidden game mechanics and tips that you don't hear about every day. These tricks become especially valuable in the mid-to-late game, whether you're farming Dune Awakening Solari or managing your base more efficiently.

Tip 1: Crouch for Faster Stamina Regeneration
Stamina is the foundation of all combat and movement, and there's a hidden mechanic that lets you regenerate stamina faster: crouch.
In practical terms, when you need to back off and reset your stamina during a fight, crouching makes regeneration start immediately — saving you 1–2 seconds compared to standing still. This is incredibly useful in PvP standoffs, boss fights, and any high-pressure situation. Some players have noted that stamina mechanics are so central to combat that they consider it the core of the game. So, building the habit of "crouching when disengaging" will noticeably smooth out your combat rhythm.
Tip 2: Recycle Unwanted Schematics for Materials
Once you hit the mid-to-late game, your inventory will fill up with low-tier schematics (Grade 1–5 and even Tier 6). They're not worth using, but throwing them away feels wasteful.
The solution is to use the Recycler to break them down into Schematic Patterns. The amount you get back depends on the schematic's grade and your recycling perks — higher grades yield more patterns. These patterns can then be used to craft the schematics you actually want. So, stop hoarding those useless barrel extenders or mod blueprints — feed them all into the recycler.
Tip 3: Unlock Infinite-Use Schematics via Capstone Quests
Each class unlocks a repeatable, infinite-use armor set schematic after completing their respective Capstone Quest.
For example, the Swordmaster unlocks the Helm of Ginas and the rest of the Ginas set. This armor is Tier 5.5, and its crafting cost is relatively low. It's the perfect "fallback set" — if you get eaten by a sandworm and lose all your gear, you can just head back to base and craft a full set to get back on your feet without starting from scratch.
Tip 4: Use Circuit Routing to Simplify Base Management
If you've reached the base-building stage, this trick will save you tons of headaches: you can route production outputs from specific fabricators (like the Advanced Weapon Fabricator or Ore Refineries) to designated storage boxes.
In the fabricator's interface, assign its output to a specific circuit (e.g., Circuit 8). From then on, all finished items will automatically go to that box instead of clogging the fabricator's output inventory. This is a game-changer for managing large bases and keeping resources organized — but surprisingly, not everyone knows about it.
Tip 5: Earning Intel Points After Level 125
Intel Points are essential for unlocking advanced technologies. After you hit level 125, leveling up no longer gives you Intel Points. You'll need to explore the map and visit Points of Interest (POIs) to earn more.
• Deep Desert's A-Line Testing Stations: These reset weekly and are a reliable source of Intel Points in the endgame.
• Hagga Basin POIs: The map marks various POIs that award Intel Points. Check which ones you've already collected.
To max out your research tree, running the A-Line routes in the Deep Desert weekly is almost mandatory.
Tip 6: "Heavy Attack Chase" – A Guaranteed Hit on Shieldless Enemies
When fighting unshielded ranged AI enemies, they follow a predictable dodge pattern: if you use a light attack → heavy attack combo, they will always dodge the second heavy attack.
The counter is simple: as they dodge backward, walk forward and immediately throw another heavy attack. Since they're still recovering from the dodge animation, they can't evade again — this follow-up heavy will land every time. If your damage is decent, this combo will often finish them off.
Hopefully, these advanced tips help you survive and thrive in the world of Dune Awakening. If you've discovered any clever tricks of your own, feel free to share them in the comments. See you in the next one!
