With Diablo 4 Season 11: Season of Divine Intervention underway, many players are eager to farm Mythic items. This guide offers a clear overview of the most effective ways to acquire them—whether through farming, crafting, or using Resplendent Sparks.

Maxroll D4 guides often break down progression into different steps: starter, ancestral, and mythic. Many builds eventually reach the Mythic stage, where one, two, or sometimes three of these items are equipped. So, how can you farm Mythic items in the most efficient way possible?

There are several ways to obtain Mythic items in D4, either through direct drops or by using Resplendent Sparks, which are essential for crafting Mythic items. In this guide, we'll cover the main sources and strategies for obtaining them.

Fastest Way to Get Mythics – Diablo 4 Season 11

Resplendent Spark

One of the easiest ways to acquire Mythic items is through Resplendent Sparks:

● Players typically receive one free spark via the Season Journey (now called Season Rank), which still functions the same. Completing the final objectives grants this spa

● With two sparks, you can craft a Mythic, putting you halfway toward your goal.

● Additionally, the Season Reputation system provides sparks. On the PTR, a Resplendent Cache was available, granting one spark.

By combining these methods, you can craft your first Mythic item with relative ease.

There are some thing you need to note:

● Season Rank is a one-time reward and cannot be repeated.

● Season Reputation can be completed on every character, making it a valuable farming method. A proven strategy from previous seasons is recreating characters—even within the same class—to repeatedly farm reputation. This process is usually fast; in Season 10, for example, it could take as little as an hour to complete one cache, especially with a good setup and a boost to level 60.

While efficiency depends on the balance of the current season’s reputation track, this remains a relatively easy approach, particularly if you play multiple characters (alts).

Lilith: An Alternative Spark Farming Option

In addition to Season Rank and Reputation, Lilith is another option for farming sparks. Though it's unclear if she still drops a spark in Season 11 due to changes in the PTR, she has historically been a reliable source. To farm Lilith for a spark, you need to fight her on Tier 1. She’s easy to defeat, and as long as the spark is available, you can quickly earn it.

Boss Farming for Mythic Items

Beyond sparks, the primary method for obtaining Mythic items is by farming bosses, particularly lair bosses such as Duriel, Andariel, Harbinger, and others. These bosses generally have a fixed Mythic drop rate, though the exact rate remains unknown. Higher-tier bosses tend to have a higher drop rate, with Bile being the highest tier. The middle-tier bosses, such as Duriel, Andariel, and Harbinger, have an elevated drop rate, while smaller bosses drop them less often. However, they are still viable sources for Mythics. With the right setup and the ability to one-shot these bosses, you can reliably farm Mythics and materials, eventually getting your hands on the coveted items.

That being said, the drop rates have been adjusted in recent seasons, so farming a specific Mythic might not always be the best approach. It may be more efficient to farm the spark through the seasonal reputation system, and then craft your Mythic via the jeweler.

Bosses as a Source for Unique Items

Bosses also serve as a valuable source of unique items, which is particularly important in Season 11, where sanctification requires a large number of unique items to achieve the best results. This means that boss farming will involve some grinding, but you will likely accumulate a significant number of Mythics along the way. The good news is that the sanctification system has been updated from the PTR, and now ancestries, uniques, and Mythics cannot replace a stat. Instead, they provide a pure benefit to the sanctification outcome. While there is a small chance that other items could worsen, this isn’t a major concern. When farming uniques, you'll primarily be looking for specific aspects, such as offensive aspects that multiply your damage, which will be crucial for your late-game strategy. If you're fully committed to this process, you’ll likely end up with a good number of Mythics.

Random Mythic Drops and Other Sources

In Season 10, a significant change occurred—Mythics are now available from other sources. Previously, bosses were the only real source of Mythics, unless you got extremely lucky. Personally, I never got a random Mythic before Season 10, but that season, I got five random Mythics. Now, it’s becoming more realistic to find Mythics from random sources such as gambling, destructible chests in the open world, hell tides, or the pit. While it’s not guaranteed, these sources are now much more viable.

The Kurast Undercity is another excellent source for Mythics due to the Mythic tribute. The tribute of ascendance has a 50/50 chance to drop a Mythic, and occasionally, you can even get two Mythics from one tribute. The key advantage here is that if you find one tribute, you can perform a roda and multiply your chances if you have three other players bringing their tributes. This increases your chances to four times 50/50 for a Mythic. Although tributes are rare, they can drop from whisper caches and world bosses, making them a great option for Mythic farming.

Crafting Mythics: Random vs. Targeted

When it comes to crafting Mythics, there are two options. The first is a random cache from the blacksmith, which costs two sparks and 50 million D4 gold. This method is random, but it can be a good way to get Mythics if you're looking for variety. For certain classes, like the rogue, this is an especially good option since they have the smallest pool of Mythics, and many rogue-specific weapons are not widely used in most builds. Crafting on a rogue is a more efficient way to get the Mythic you need.

The second option is target crafting through the jeweler using runes. This method can be quite costly, especially when dupe issues are fixed, making runes more valuable early in the season. To craft a Mythic this way, you'll need six different rune types. While I generally avoid this method and prefer crafting random Mythics, you can also gather the required gold and buy the runes to target craft the specific item you need.

Gambling for Mythics

Lastly, you can also gamble for Mythics, although this is not the most efficient strategy. It's possible to randomly receive a Mythic, and sometimes you might even get something unexpected. For example, if you gamble for gloves, you might end up with a Mythic Heart of Seelic, even though there’s no Mythic glove. You can also target specific items by gambling, but again, this method is unreliable.

Conclusion

In Season 11: Season of Divine Intervention, there are many ways to obtain Mythic items—through sparks, bosses, random drops, crafting, and even gambling. The best approach is to combine these methods based on your goals and resources. With steady farming and smart choices, you’ll build up the Mythics you need and strengthen your endgame build.
