Even after the nerf, Level 3 Escalation Sigils remain the fastest Gem Fragment farming method in Season 14.
The reason is the high reward value:
● Each Gem Fragment chest gives around 230,000 Gem Fragments.
● The boss rewards around 700,000 Gem Fragments.
● If the boss appears again, you can gain another 700,000 Gem Fragments.
To maximize efficiency:
● Activate the Branching Pathways Node in the Nightmare Dungeon War Plans Tree.
● Choose Gem Affix rewards whenever possible.
● Ignore unnecessary objectives and loot.
● Rush directly to Level 3 and defeat the boss.
If the run does not provide useful rewards and you do not need anything else, simply leave and start a new Escalation Sigil.
How to Farm Seer’s Reach Efficiently
For players who prefer a more reliable method, Seer’s Reach Dungeon is still a good choice.
Located north of Temis, Seer’s Reach allows you to repeatedly farm the Tormented Servant boss.
The farming loop:
1. Enter Seer’s Reach and reach the boss arena.
2. Place a map marker near the boss.
3. Defeat Tormented Servant and collect rewards.
4. Leave the dungeon and reset it.
5. Return directly to the boss using your marker.
Tormented Servant can drop Royal Gems and occasionally Grand Gems, making this a simple alternative to Escalation Sigils.
How to Maximize Gem Fragment Drops
The key to efficient farming is reaching Level 3 as quickly as possible.
During Escalation Sigil runs:
● Prioritize Gem Affixes.
● Skip unnecessary content.
● Focus on boss kills and final rewards.
The faster you complete Level 3 runs, the more Gem Fragments you can collect over time.
Why You Should Farm All Gem Fragment Types
Do not only farm the Gem Fragment type your build currently needs.
In Season 14, the crafting system allows different Gem Fragment types to be converted into the ones you need. For example, unwanted Emerald Fragments can still help you create Topaz Fragments.
Because of this, every Gem Fragment is valuable.
