The FC 27 Web App will be the starting point for many Ultimate Team players before they jump into the full game. With limited activities available, the early goal is simple: claim available rewards, build up coins, explore the market, and prepare for the launch of FC 27.
The Web App period is expected to be relatively short, so there is little reason to overcomplicate the opening. In this video, YouTuber TheFutAccountant shares the most useful tips to do when logging into FC 27 for the first time.
When Will the FC 27 Web App Open?
The FC 27 Web App was expected to launch around the usual content-drop time on Wednesday, September 16, although this was not confirmed. The launch update pitch notes were expected to provide the official timing.
Players should also make sure they are using the correct Web App link. A page showing “Web App Coming Soon” may continue displaying that message even after the service goes live if the wrong URL is being refreshed.
It’s recommended to search “web app fc 27” on Google and click that link because that one won't have " coming soon" in the actual URL.
Access is also expected to depend on previous FC 26 activity. Players who had Web App access during FC 26 should be eligible, while those who did not play FC 26 may not receive access. A previous market ban may still prevent access to the Transfer Market even if the Web App itself remains available.
Choose the Right Starter League
One of the first screens is expected to ask players to choose a league. The version offered four options:
• Premier League
• La Liga
• Ligue 1
• Bundesliga
The choice provides a starter squad and places the account on a particular onboarding path. The exact options could still change before launch.
Unlike previous years, the league choice is not expected to provide a major coin-making advantage. Tradable kits and badges that could previously be sold for coins are no longer as useful if the rewards are untradeable.
As a result, the safest approach is simply to choose the league and starter players that look most appealing. There is little reason to spend too much time trying to optimize this decision.
Claim Returning Player Rewards
After completing the initial setup, check the Store for any available returning-player or loyalty rewards.
These rewards were available in previous years, although their inclusion in FC 27 was not confirmed. If they are available, opening the packs should be an early priority.
The main objective is to collect as many useful players and items as possible while looking for tradable rewards. Server issues can also occur during the first hours of the Web App, so repeated disconnections may be unavoidable.
Build Coins Instead of a Starter Team
One of the biggest mistakes during the Web App period is spending coins on a complete starting squad.
There is no need for a strong team when matches cannot be played through the Web App. More players and packs will become available once the full game is launched, while many of the initial cards can eventually be used in SBCs.
Instead, the priority should be building an FC 27 coin balance.
Tradable players that are unlikely to be useful can be sold or quick-sold, although expensive cards and strong starter options may be worth keeping for a few days. Their value could increase once more players enter the game and begin spending their coins.
The same principle applies to tradable kits, badges, and other items that have little practical value.
Complete Useful SBCs Carefully
FC 27 introduces changes to the SBC system, including a streamlined format that uses an SBC Score. Players submit cards until the required score is reached rather than necessarily following the traditional squad-building format.
A “Getting Started” SBC shown in the beta required specific gold players, including English players. If a similar SBC is available at launch, it could create early demand for certain cards on the Transfer Market.
However, spending a large portion of the starting coin balance on SBCs is not recommended during the Web App stage.
The number of SBCs available before the full game launches may be limited, and there may not be enough rewards to justify using valuable players and coins. Saving coins for market activity can provide more flexibility.
Check Objectives for Easy Coins
Objectives could be one of the better ways to earn coins without playing matches, provided the Objectives section is available on the Web App.
In previous years, some objectives were locked during the early Web App period. If FC 27 allows access to the relevant objectives, the Transfer Market Mastery path could be particularly useful.
Completing the full progression requires considerable market activity, including purchasing and listing large numbers of players.
Low-cost bronze players could potentially be used for this process. Buying them cheaply and listing them again at a similar price can help complete the requirements without consuming the entire coin balance.
It is a grind, but it could provide a useful early source of coins.
Explore the New Gallery
The Gallery is another new feature worth checking.
Players can collect cards for Gallery sets rather than simply submitting those cards as traditional SBC fodder. Cards can come from packs or from the Transfer Market, and completing sets can provide rewards.
The exact value of the Gallery during the Web App period remained uncertain. Players may need to collect a reasonable number of cards before earning meaningful rewards.
If introductory Gallery sets are available, they could potentially provide coins, packs, or Gallery Tokens. Those tokens may then be used in the Gallery Token Store for additional rewards.
For this reason, the Gallery could become one of the more interesting parts of the Web App if EA provides enough accessible sets and rewards at launch.
Try the Bronze Pack Method
The Bronze Pack Method could become particularly useful during the early market period.
The strategy involves opening inexpensive bronze packs, listing valuable bronze players on the Transfer Market, and quick-selling unwanted items. If demand for bronze and silver players increases because of objectives or SBC requirements, the cards pulled from these packs may generate a profit.
For example, if several players from a pack can be sold for around 200 coins each, the sales combined with quick-sell value can potentially offset much of the pack’s cost.
The method becomes more interesting when players are actively buying low-rated cards to complete early objectives or SBCs.
However, profitability will depend entirely on FC 27’s launch prices and player demand.

Avoid These Web App Mistakes
The Web App is mainly about preparing for the full game, so several common mistakes should be avoided.
• Don’t build an expensive starter squad. There is no gameplay on the Web App, and better players will become available after launch.
• Don’t spend coins unnecessarily on SBCs. Save coins for opportunities that provide a clear return.
• Don’t quick-sell valuable cards too quickly. Expensive players and useful starter cards may rise in value once more gamers enter Ultimate Team.
• Don’t ignore the Transfer Market. Early market activity can create opportunities, particularly when specific cards are required for SBCs or objectives.
• Don’t panic if the Web App feels empty. The early Web App period may offer considerably fewer activities than the full game.
Focus on Coins, Packs, and Preparation
The Web App period is much shorter than it used to be, which changes how the opening should be approached.
Rather than trying to create the perfect squad immediately, the better strategy is to accumulate resources. Open available packs, claim rewards, complete useful market objectives, look for trading opportunities, and explore the Gallery when possible.
The most valuable resource at this stage is often coins. Having a healthy balance when the full game launches provides much more freedom to buy players, react to market trends, and build the squad later.
EA had also indicated that FC 27 would feature more tradable packs and more coins in rewards, although the actual launch rewards would need to be seen before judging how significant the changes are.
What About FC Points?
FC Points are not expected to be available for direct use through the Web App in the same way as during the full game. Pre-order FC Points have historically not been available through the Web App.
Therefore, the early Web App strategy should not depend on having FC Points available.
Final Tips for Starting FC 27 Ultimate Team
There is no need to find a “perfect” way to start FC 27 Ultimate Team.
The Web App may provide only a limited selection of activities before the full game becomes available. The most practical approach is to:
1. Log in as soon as access becomes available.
2. Choose a starter league without overthinking the decision.
3. Claim any returning-player or loyalty rewards.
4. Open available packs.
5. Keep valuable players while selling or quick-selling unwanted tradable items.
6. Check Objectives and complete useful market-based tasks.
7. Look for early Transfer Market opportunities.
8. Explore the Gallery and its introductory sets.
9. Try the Bronze Pack Method if market demand supports it.
10. Save as many coins as possible for the full game.
The Web App is only the beginning of the FC 27 Ultimate Team journey. With limited gameplay-related content available at this stage, the main objective is to enter the full game with as many coins, packs, players, and useful resources as possible.
