In Diablo 4 Season 14, Pandemonium Fragments have become an important resource for players crafting Mythic Uniques. However, obtaining them is not a simple farming task, as players need to complete a challenging endgame loop involving Torment XII, Superior Lair Keys, and the Corrupted Reaper.
This guide covers how to farm Pandemonium Fragments step by step, including how to reach the required difficulty, farm Superior Lair Keys, defeat the Corrupted Reaper, and claim the final rewards.
What Are Pandemonium Fragments
Pandemonium Fragments are a special Season 14 material used for the Mythic Unique progression system in Diablo 4. Their main purpose is to convert Unique items into random Mythic Uniques, giving players another way to pursue some of the most powerful items in Diablo 4.
This system allows players to use their existing Unique items and collected materials to attempt a Mythic Unique conversion. However, the process comes with a major limitation: the result is completely random. Players cannot choose a specific Mythic Unique they want. Instead, they must spend their Pandemonium Fragments and Unique items and rely on luck to obtain the item they are looking for.
Because Pandemonium Fragments are directly connected to Mythic Unique progression, they have become one of the most valuable resources for endgame players in Season 14.
However, obtaining them is not easy. These fragments are locked behind high-level endgame content and require players to defeat the Corrupted Reaper on Torment XII to collect them, making them a time-consuming but essential resource for players chasing optimized endgame builds.
Steps to Farm Pandemonium Fragments
Currently, the main way to obtain Pandemonium Fragments is by farming the Corrupted Reaper on Torment XII difficulty.
The process requires several steps:
1. Reach Torment XII
2. Farm Superior Lair Keys
3. Defeat the Corrupted Reaper
4. Open the Reaper’s Hoard using a Superior Lair Key to get 1 Pandemonium Fragment
Step 1: Reach Torment XII Difficulty
According to testing across different Torment levels, Pandemonium Fragments could only be obtained after reaching Torment XII. This means reaching Torment XII is the first requirement before starting the Pandemonium Fragment farming process. You need a strong enough build to enter and farm content at this difficulty level.
Step 2: Farm Superior Lair Keys
After reaching Torment XII, the next step is collecting Superior Lair Keys.
You should farm as many Superior Lair Keys as possible, ideally collecting more than 5 before starting the Corrupted Reaper farm. This is because converting a Unique item into a Mythic Unique requires 5 Pandemonium Fragments, and each Corrupted Reaper reward only provides 1 Pandemonium Fragment.
According to Blizzard’s original information, the Deathtoll Chamber was expected to be the main source for farming Superior Lair Keys. Enter the Deathtoll Chamber through several methods:
● Defeat the Realmwalker during the Hawezar world event.
● Enter through Surging Ruptures during Helltide events.
● Complete a Nightmare Dungeon with the Ruptures affix.
However, after testing multiple Deathtoll Chamber runs, the actual results were disappointing. Even after reaching Torment XII, repeated clears did not consistently provide Superior Lair Keys.
Currently, a more consistent way to obtain Superior Lair Keys is by defeating Mini Belial after completing Lair Boss fights. The farming process is straightforward:
1. Farm Normal or Greater Lair Keys.
2. Use these keys to summon and defeat Lair Bosses.
3. After defeating a Lair Boss, there is a chance for Mini Belial to appear.
4. Defeat Mini Belial to obtain Superior Lair Keys.

Step 3: Defeat the Corrupted Reaper in Torment XII
The Corrupted Reaper is a challenging boss introduced in the Season 14 seasonal questline. To start the fight, you need to:
1. Go to the Pandemonium Threshold near Zarbinzet.
2. Interact with the summoning altar to begin the Corrupted Reaper encounter.
3. Defeat the boss to make the Reaper’s Hoard appear.
To defeat her:
1. Keep Moving During Teleport Attacks
One of the biggest challenges of the Corrupted Reaper fight is her consecutive teleporting attacks. During these attacks, the boss moves around the arena and releases lines of damage while potentially triggering nearby traps. Keeping your movement consistent is the key to avoiding unnecessary damage during this phase.
To deal with this mechanic:
Move away as soon as the Corrupted Reaper starts teleporting around the arena.
Use unpredictable movement patterns, such as moving in a serpentine manner, to avoid the teleport line attacks.
Avoid staying near traps whenever possible, as teleport attacks can trigger nearby traps and cause them to explode with a larger damage radius.
2. Stay Close and Attack When Possible
The Corrupted Reaper also has a ranged projectile attack that she tends to use when players stay too far away. So you need to:
● Stay within close range whenever possible.
● Continue attacking when there is a safe opportunity.
● Focus on breaking her barrier and maintaining consistent damage until her health is depleted.
Although positioning is important, spending too much time away from the boss will reduce your damage uptime and allow her to use more ranged attacks.
Step 4: Open the Reaper’s Hoard and Get Pandemonium Fragments
Once you finally deliver the killing blow, the Reaper’s Hoard will appear. Use 1 Superior Lair Key to open it, and you will receive 1 Pandemonium Fragment.
This means 1 Superior Lair Key is always equivalent to 1 Pandemonium Fragment. Since Superior Lair Keys are already difficult and time-consuming to farm, collecting enough Pandemonium Fragments for Mythic Unique conversion has become one of the hardest endgame grinds in Diablo 4 Season 14.
