Dear Exiles. Good new. Today, we have some great news from Guiding Gear Games. We have the official release date for the next Path of Exile 1 League. They recently posted on their forums about the next league, which is here.
We know the full content reveal will take place on February 26. So, pretty soon. And the official launch will be on March 6. So, the start of March is on a Friday, and we're going to have the next league. We don't know many details at the moment, but they will, as always, release teasers and spoilers before the content reveal.
We also have an image here that some people speculated was about the next league. No, this is actually in the Epilogue part. So, this is not from the next league. We actually did this in the game already. So after you finish Act 10 in the campaign, this is the Epilogue part when you enter the Kirac bunker.

At the moment, we're still running the Legacy of Phrecia event, but it ends next week. So we still have Phrecia here. Next week it will end. The character that you have here will be transitioned to the Keepers league. And the Keeper's characters that you have here will be transitioned to standard. So everything that you have in Phrecia here, you will still save it up. So the currency that you made in PoE, the characters that you made, you don't lose them anymore. This is very important.
But again, very soon we're going to have the next league. We'll see how it goes. I don't expect miracles from this league simply because all the energy, most of the energy, and resources go towards developing Path of Exile 2. So the Path of Exile 2 game is in early access. Grinding Gear Games tries to get it out of early access as fast as possible. So they don't want to get stuck with Path of Exile 2 in early access forever. And they have a problem with the developers. So they migrated some developers from PoE 1 to work on PoE 2, and that's their main priority at the moment: getting PoE 2 out of early access. And because of this, I can't see miracles with this new league. So I don't expect something phenomenal. Their entire priority at the moment is PoE 2, getting it out of early access.
As a matter of fact, the leaks we have for PoE 1 mostly feature scraped content, starting with Setters of Kalguur. Most of the mechanics we have in Kingsmarch were scraped from previous leagues, and this is a trend. They take resources from the past because their priority again is PoE 2. So I don't expect a miracle with the next league.
But whatever it will be, the core of the game is good. Path of Exile has an incredible core game. So even if the league will be, you know, a small league or something simple, the game will still be great. Yeah, the game's complexity is what makes it so beautiful.
