Fortnite: How to Make Your Account Automatically Accept Friend Requests

When purchasing Fortnite items, besides providing your Fortnite display name and Epic games email address, you should also make sure your account automatically accepts friend requests.

For PS4 players, you go to your PS4 settings → account management → privacy settings → friends|connections → friend requests, then choose “Anyone”.

For XBOX ONE players, you go to your XBOX settings → all settings → privacy & online safety → XBOX Live privacy → choose the “Adult default” account type → then choose View details & customize → You can join multiplayer games, then choose “Allow”

Where to find my Fortnite display name and epic games email address?

1. Open www.epicgames.com. 

2. Click on Sign-in in the top right corner and sign into your Epic Games account. 

3. Hover over your display name and click “Account”, then you’ll see your Fortnite display name and epic games email address. Note that for PS4 and Xbox ONE players, your Epic display name should be your Epic Games name, not Xbox live or Playstion name.
