Today we will talk about sliver, which is not easy to get. I've already written an article on how to get silver, but we want to talk about more things you need to know. This Cauttyh's guide will have a ton of useful content. Don't miss it.
The first thing about silver is that you do your dailies. Silver is the daily tax, and it is designed to make sure you log in daily and play the game. However, some things will help you make a little bit more on weekly resets to help you out.
Do Lopang
The first thing is the most fundamental thing: do Lopang. But the secret to not being down horrific on silver is doing your Lopang slave Chaos dungeons. Doing chaos dungeons is not the hottest take, but obviously, there are a lot of people starting to do their Chaos under Lopang.
However, this is some important information to understand. Silver does not raise proportionally as other currencies do: shards go up every time you go up in the chaos dungeon. Silver does as well, but not as much. But there is a sweet spot here where you get a significant boost.
According to the following pic, you can see that between 1400 -1415, there is a significant boost. But the chaos dungeons in 1445 - 1475 tend to give you relatively the same amount of sliver.
The thing is that from 1415 to 1520, there isn't a massive difference in your actual silver acquisition. So for your Lopang silver, it's a good idea to push them past 1415, so you can get a little boost of silver. Because outside of that, you're earning the same silver at 1415 or 1520, which is extremely toxic.
There is one thing that blocks you, and it will be South Vern. Whether you want to run South Vern, it is really up to you. But the fact is that you are earning the same amount of silver in 1520 as you are 1415. I think it's pretty worth it because you're making about a 10k boost on your silver from 1370 to 1415. This is for running two of your chaos dungeons.
And on top of that, if you're doing it fully rested, which many players do, there's about 20k extra silver for your chaos dungeons, which is a significant amount when you're running a bunch of characters over a long period of time.
Do Your Cubes
The second thing is that do your cubes. Doing cubes is a massive source of silver. I always do them as 3X because it's worth it. The main source is from these chests at the end of every week on your main six. Usually, the best thing you could spend your Sylmael Bloodstone on is these chests: the Yorn Entrance Boxes and the Punika Boxes. There are useful ways to get silver from your characters, which you might not care about:
1. Chests: this is once per roster. You're able to buy these chests every single week. Do not buy them on your main six, and you can buy them on your Lopang slaves that are never doing anything like ticket related ever. And on top of that, buy the lower level boxes. You can do your guild donations every single day on all of your characters. It might not be very pleasant, but these boxes are worth a ton of silver. You can buy all the T1, T2, and T3 as many as you can get on all of your Lopang slaves because you're never going to run their tickets. You can just open these chests because you want silver from them. T1 can give you up to 75k and a distance going up from every single chest.
If you have many Lopang characters in the same realm where you just want the silver, you end up making a lot of silver on every single reset. So just have a bunch of Lopang slaves that you're done your donations on throughout the week.
2. Special mission: most players will not run their chaos mission because they have no time, but your special mission should not be empty. It should always be running. And you should every single day at least be collecting two sets of rewards from it.
Make sure you're sending out your cubes; make sure you're sending out your chaos; make sure you're always sending something out because you're going to have a ton of tickets for a bunch of different things on your Lopang slaves or into cases whatever it makes sure you are using this resource.
