The zone also introduces dynamic public events known as Curse Surges, which unfold in multiple stages and culminate in boss encounters. These events reward players with reputation, crafting materials, and gear, making them a core part of the new open-world loop.

Expanded Ping System

The ping system is receiving a significant overhaul aimed at improving group communication. Players will now be able to ping abilities directly from their action bars or cooldown manager, automatically announcing remaining cooldown times in chat. This allows for quick coordination, especially when managing major abilities.

Additionally, players can ping resource bars, such as their health, to notify teammates of their current status. While useful, this feature may lead to excessive notifications if overused. The system also introduces more precise targeting options, allowing players to ping the environment, specific units, or both—even through UI elements and character models. This added flexibility should make communication clearer and more efficient in group content.

Class Balance Changes
