To complete this hidden questline, players need to find all 10 Deckard Cain Journals scattered across Sanctuary. After collecting every journal, you can complete Deckard’s Journey, enter Deckard’s Memory, and revisit the classic Tristram area.
All 10 Deckard Cain Journal Locations
The 10 Deckard Cain Journals are hidden across Sanctuary and can be collected in any order. When you get close to a journal location, a cyan marker will appear on the map, making them easier to find.
1. Gea Kul – Kehjistan
● Teleport to the Gea Kul waypoint.
● Travel north, then move west toward the docks.
● The journal is located near the dock area.
2. Imperial Library – Kehjistan
● Travel to the Imperial Library.
● Find the journal inside.
● You can also replay collected journal entries here.
3. Scouring Sands – Kehjistan
● Teleport to Andariel’s Lair.
● Exit the area.
● Travel north toward Scouring Sands.
● Use the cyan marker to locate the journal.
4. Wejinhani – Hawezar
● Teleport to the Wejinhani waypoint.
● Move east from the waypoint.
● Follow the cyan marker to find the journal.
5. Lorath’s Cabin – Near Beast in Ice
● Teleport to Beast in Ice’s Lair.
● Exit and travel west.
● Enter Lorath’s Cabin.
● Check the back room for the journal.
6. Hidden Overlook – Dry Steppes
● Teleport to the Hidden Overlook waypoint.
● Travel southwest.
● Find the bridge overlooking Guulrahn.
● The journal is located nearby.

7. Marowen – Scosglen
● Teleport to Marowen.
● Travel west toward the docks.
● Find the journal near the waterfront.
8. Braestaig – Scosglen
● Teleport to Braestaig.
● Travel east from the waypoint.
● Find the journal near the entrance of the Penitent Cairns dungeon.
9. Under the Fat Goose Inn – Scosglen
● Teleport to Under the Fat Goose Inn.
● Travel west until you reach a tower.
● Crouch to enter the small opening.
● The journal is inside the tower near the Gallowvine dungeon entrance.
10. Yelesna – Fractured Peaks
● Teleport to Yelesna.
● Travel north.
● Defeat the enemies blocking the path.
● Collect the final Deckard Cain Journal.
How to Complete Deckard’s Journey
After collecting all 10 Deckard Cain Journals:
● Return to the Imperial Library in Kehjistan.
● Speak with Deckard Cain.
● Complete the Deckard’s Journey quest.
● Enter the portal to Deckard’s Memory to unlock access to Old Tristram.
