Dear RuneScape players, today, the Best Gaming Site MmoGah will introduce Ape Atoll Temple Dungeon Guide to you. This dungeon is used for two quests, Monkey Madness and Recipe for Disaster. Currently the dungeon is not very large, because there is a locked gate which blocks the passage to the west.
Ape Atoll is a medium sized island located north-east of the Void Knight's Outpost and South of Karamja. Ape Atoll is heavily guarded by Archer Monkeys, and the outskirts of the island are full of Jungle Spiders and other rebarbative critters. Monkey Madness is required, and if you ever wish to go there without being killed, you need to get a Monkey Greegree. If not, you should ensure that you stock up on Anti poison potions and high healing foods.
Go to the Temple located in Ape Atoll and enter the trapdoor. This is conveniently the same temple you would teleport to using the Ape Atoll teleport spell at level 64 Magic and requiring 2 law, water runes, fire, and a banana. It is wise to become a monkey using your Monkey Greegree from Monkey Madness, so you won't become a target of the local monsters. I recommend to use Protect from Melee if you are a human, because you won't take as much damage, and there is always an altar to Marimbo in the Temple which you can pray at if you are running low on prayer.
Map of the Dungeon
Wall of Flames
This is used in the Monkey Madness quest, at the part when you have to make the amulet. Besides that, it is not used for anything else.
This is not the way out of the Dungeon, it's a crack that you can squeeze through which leads you to a separate room. Make sure that you are a Zombie Monkey as there is lava on the floor which you need to cross. You will get hurt badly if you are not in Zombie Monkey form when crossing this, you will get hurt badly. There is a Rock in the middle of the room which you use during Recipe for Disaster to cook the King's Meal. This room has no other purpose.
There is an inaccessible door if you follow the passage down. It might be used in a new sequel to Monkey Madness later on. You can still see what is in the other room though. Nothing really apart from Monkey Zombies, but if you look closely you might see a Monkey Skull, which is very fearsome.
Leaving the Dungeon
Go back to the start of the dungeon where you first came in and you should see a Climbing-Rope. Climb up it and you should be back where you started - in the Temple.
