By Michel Z2018-03-27

Welcome to a video guide to 2018 RuneScape 3 Spring Fayre. This guide contains each activity as well as the rewards and Happy Hours. Within the Spring Fayre, there are various events that are giving you XP in a plethora of skills as well as some new rewards.

Please click Lildogdog RS's video for more details of this year's eventand all the content of this article is quoted from his video:

You will be notified about the Spring Fayre upon logging in with the message: The Spring Fayre is active in Lumbridge Crater!

Candy floss machine

You are going to twirl floss, which gives you Cooking XP. The amount of XP you'll get depends on your level, so your XP is going to vary from level 1 to level 99. This machine is not AFKable, since every time you get the XP drop, you have to click, which is a little annoying. However, the XP for every drop is not too bad.

All these rates are the base value at level 99 before any experience multiplier is applied.

Fortune Teller

Kristlin has an option for you to ask for a cookie. You just take a cookie. She provides medium fortune stars in a variety of skills via the cloud of destiny located to the east of the crater. To get a cloud of destiny, you must find a tarot card token through participating in the various event activities and give it to Kristlin. The Spring Fayre goes on until April 23, so there is a pretty good chance to get at least one tarot card.

Dancing Platform

It is located in the southeast corner of the Fayre. This will give you Prayer XP, and you have to stand on the platforms and attempt to follow the emotes done by the leaders. When they say something different, you just switch to that new pose. As soon as you switch to the right pose, you'll get better XP.

All these rates are the base value at level 99 before any experience multiplier is applied.

Easter Egg Shy

This activity is located in the south-eastern corner of the Fayre, and you are to hit Easter eggs with several objects. You have three options here:

• Balls: Balls have an average hit chance and give average XP

• Cabbages: Cabbages have a lower chance to hit but give higher XP

• Chinchompas: Chinchompas have a higher chance to hit but give lower XP

It's up to you to determine which earns you the best XP, and each successful hit awards Ranged XP.

All these rates are the base value at level 99 before any experience multiplier is applied.

Trixie's scavenger hunt

When you are skilling at this Fayre, you can find a list of items that you need to collect for Trixie. If you lose that list, you can get a replacement from her. Some of the items can even be bought from the GE with your RS Gold. When you complete it, you'll get Thieving XP which is awarded in the form of a small XP lamp. Trixie is located in the north-west corner of the crater.

Test of strength machine

Test of strength machine is located at the north-western side of Fayre, right beside the north entrance to the crater. Operating the machine awards Strength XP, but this is not AFKable at all.

The Mighty Zoltan is located slightly east of the Helter Skelter. Operating it awards one of the 17 mis-fortunes and Divination XP. It is possible to get duplicates.

Festive egg hunt

You are going to find out the eggs hidden around the Spring Fayre. Collecting the eggs is a sub-requirement to unlock the Fairest of Them All title (there are additional requirements to obtain title). Festive eggs have no other use and can be destroyed after being found, as keeping them is not required for the title.

Helter Skelter

The Helter Skelter stands in the middle of the Fayre grounds, and riding the Helter Skelter gives you Constitution XP.

All these rates are the base value at level 99 before any experience multiplier is applied.

Rewards

There will be rewards that are purchasable with RuneCoins via the Cosmetics Stall, or via the three rewards shops by speaking to Nixie, Rixie, and Prezleek during the event. Rewards could also be awarded randomly by participating in the fayre events, which gave the message: Whilst playing games at the Fayre you find - (token). Rewards included cosmetic overrides, emotes, pets, and a special title - The Fairest of Them All, and The Fair Maiden/Squire. There are also some previous items like Yak Balloon and Fortune cape etc.

Happy Hour

Don't forget to take advantage of those happy hours. Occasionally a Happy Hour occurs, which allows you to gain 10% more XP from activities.
