If you want to rebuild your blueprint collection quickly after an expedition wipe in ARC Raiders, this route is one of the most effective farming methods available. Rather than searching the entire map for random containers, this strategy focuses on a single high-value location that consistently produces blueprint drops. With the right route and timing, you can obtain multiple blueprints along with a significant amount of valuable loot in just a few runs.
In this guide, we will complete three runs during the Cold Snap event, returning to the same location each time to show how efficient this blueprint farming route can be.
What Are Blueprints in ARC Raiders?
In ARC Raiders, blueprints are essential crafting unlocks that allow players to manufacture weapons, equipment, and useful tools at their base. Once a blueprint is obtained, it permanently unlocks the ability to craft that specific item, as long as you have the required materials.
Blueprints can be found as rare loot inside containers during expeditions, especially in high-value locations. Because they unlock powerful gear and utility items—such as weapon attachments, grenades, and other equipment—they are one of the most important progression systems in the game.
For this reason, farming blueprints early in a wipe can give players a major advantage, allowing them to craft better gear and prepare for tougher raids much faster.
Best Blueprint Farming Location in ARC Raiders
The location we will focus on is: Research and Admin – Dam Battlegrounds.
This building is one of the best blueprint farming spots in the game, especially right after a wipe. It contains a large number of containers and often spawns valuable loot items alongside blueprints.
This location works particularly well during the following events:
● Cold Snap Event
● Electromagnetic Storm Event
Both events increase the value of loot runs on this map.
Run #1 – Fast Entry and Efficient Looting
During the first run, the spawn point was very favorable, allowing quick access to the Research and Admin building. The goal of this run was simple: reach the building as fast as possible and secure the containers before other players arrived.
The approach focused on speed over combat. Instead of engaging every enemy, the route prioritized rushing upstairs immediately, ignoring unnecessary fights, and even tanking minor damage if needed to reach the main loot areas faster.
After entering the building and clearing the first enemy, the first container was opened and immediately rewarded a blueprint along with a Compensator. Since this building contains a large number of containers, moving quickly between them is essential for maximizing loot.
Shortly afterward, a second blueprint appeared. Continuing through the building and checking each container carefully resulted in another drop, bringing the total to three blueprints during the same run.
The route continued through the rest of the building, looting every accessible container and even checking the grenade crate. While the grenade crate did not contain a blueprint, all remaining containers were searched, including breachable containers, which are also valuable sources of crafting materials such as Processors and Sensors.
By the time the entire building was cleared, the results of the first run were already impressive.

- 5 blueprints obtained
This was an extremely strong opening run and a great start for a blueprint farming session.
Run #2 – Efficient Research and Admin Loot Route
For the second run, the route skipped Test Annex entirely and headed straight to Research and Admin to maximize blueprint farming efficiency.
Using stamina items (stems) helped reach the building faster. Shortly after entering and starting the looting route, another blueprint dropped almost immediately, increasing the total blueprint count to six.
The run then continued through the lower floors and middle sections of the building, where several additional containers can be found. These areas are also good for obtaining upgrade materials such as Dog Collars, which are used for upgrading Scrappy.
While moving through the building, several containers that had previously been missed were also looted. This location is also known for spawning rare collectible items, including:
- Breathtaking Snow Globe
- Lance’s Mixtape
During this run, another useful blueprint appeared — the Smoke Grenade Blueprint, which is a very practical unlock early in the game.

- 2 blueprints obtained
Run #3 – Long Spawn but Still Worth the Trip
The third and final run started with a spawn point farther away from the target location. Although it required running across a larger portion of the map, heading to Research and Admin was still well worth the effort.
The strategy remained the same as the previous runs: move straight to the building, go upstairs quickly, and begin looting containers before other players arrive. Shortly after entering the building, a blueprint dropped early in the run, once again proving how strong this location is for blueprint farming.
Efficiency improves significantly if you know the exact container spawn locations inside the building. Players who plan to farm this spot regularly should take time to learn the layout.
Another important tip is that loot order matters. To maximize efficiency:
- Loot normal containers first
- Open breachable containers last
This method helps secure the fastest and most valuable loot before other players reach the building.
Later in the run, another blueprint appeared. After finishing the remaining containers and opening the breachable crates, the total loot value increased further.

- 79k total loot value
- 3 blueprints obtained
Summary
Across the three Cold Snap runs, the results were very impressive:
