WoW Dragonflight is the latest expansion of World of Warcraft, a popular MMORPG that has been running for nearly 20 years. The current patch 10.1.5 introduces Season 2 of the endgame content, with new raids, dungeons, events, and gear to obtain. The patch introduces new ways to gear up, especially for nuance or players who are returning to the game. If you are looking for the best ways to gear up fast in WoW Dragonflight 10.1.5, here are some tips that can help you.

Best-Ways-to-Gear-Up-Fast-in-WoW

Myth Upgrade Track

This is a new feature that allows you to upgrade your gear from 441 ilvl to 447 ilvl, the highest level in Season 2. The Myth upgrade track is only available for gear that drops from the first five bosses of Mythic Aberrus or from the Great Vault rewards for completing a Mythic+ dungeon at level 16 or higher.

To upgrade gear on the Myth track, you need to use Flightstones and Aspect's Shadowflame Crests, which are currencies that can be obtained from high-level Mythic+ dungeons and Mythic Aberrus bosses. You then need to visit an Item Upgrade NPC and pay a certain amount of these currencies depending on the item level and slot. Of course, you can then sell the upgraded gear to a vendor for some WoW gold. The upgrade process is retroactive, meaning that any gear that you obtained in Season 2 that meets the criteria for the Myth track can be upgraded in patch 10.1.5.

Mega Dungeon

This is a new dungeon that consists of 8 bosses and is only available on Mythic difficulty. To unlock the mega-dungeon, you need to complete the Fractures in Time questline, which starts with Chromie in Oribos. You also need to have a minimum item level of 430 to enter the dungeon. And then, you can team up with four other players to challenge this dungeon for a chance to get 437 ilvl gear from the bosses, which can be upgraded to item level 441 using Flightstones and Shadowflame Crests.

To upgrade your gear, you need to visit one of the three Item Upgrade NPCs on the Dragon Isles: Kor'vas Bloodthorn in Thaldraszus, Tinkmaster Overspark in Mechagon, or Tal'ar Dawnchaser in Zandalar. You can select the desired item level and pay the required amount of currency to upgrade your gear.

The Mega Dungeon also rewards unique weapons, trinkets, and armor for all classes and slots. The Mega Dungeon will be split into two separate Mythic+ dungeons in Season 3.

The Dawn of the Infinite is a new mega-dungeon introduced in patch 10.1.5. It takes you to different timelines and realities where you face various enemies and bosses.

Time Rifts

Time Rifts are also a new event introduced in this patch, which lets you travel to alternate realities where Azeroth's history went differently, taking place at Tyrhold Reservoir in Thaldraszus.

To join a Time Rift event, you need to go to Tyrhold Reservoir in Thaldraszus and talk to Soridormi, an NPC that will appear on your map with a battle horn icon. The events happen every hour and last for 15 minutes.

The event has two phases:

In the first phase, you need to kill enemies, complete puzzles, and other tasks in Tyrhold Reservoir to earn Paracausal Flakes and Temporal Essence, which are currencies that can be used to buy rewards from Time Rift vendors and chests. The first phase lasts for 10 minutes.

In the second phase, you need to enter a portal to one of the seven possible alternate realities and defeat a boss there. You can get more Paracausal Flakes, Soridormi reputation, and a chance for cosmetics, catch-up gear, and Dilated Time Capsules from the boss. Dilated Time Capsules can be exchanged for item level 402 gear that can be upgraded to 424 item level total. The gear slots that give tier bonuses are Chest, Hands, Head, Legs, and Shoulders.

Above are the three new ways you can use to upgrade your gear in patch 10.1.5. Hope it helps. Have fun in Dragon Isles!
