If you're diving into Diablo 4 Season 8 and want to hit level 60 in record time, you've come to the right place. This guide will walk you through a proven strategy to level up quickly, conquer Torment 4 within hours, and dominate the game no matter which class you choose. By following P4wnyhof's guide, you can reach level 60 in just 2 hours and start farming high-level bosses in no time.

Key Boss Powers for Fast Leveling

To achieve this rapid leveling in Diablo 4 Season 8, you need to exploit Boss Powers to their fullest. The primary Boss Power you need is Belial's Eye Beams: After consuming a healing potion, you gain 50% damage reduction and summon an eye beam that inflicts 200,000 damage over 3.5 seconds. The catch is that after using the potion, you can't use it again for 5 seconds, meaning you can shoot out the eye beam every 5 seconds. This beam one-shots everything in Expert difficulty.

Why Start in Expert Difficulty?

Instead of starting in Normal, you will want to begin in Expert difficulty, which grants a 125% bonus experience. While you could opt for Penitent difficulty, the eye beam is less effective against elites there, often requiring two beams to clear a pack. In contrast, in Expert, you can effortlessly take down bosses.

Comparing Other Powers

You might wonder about Ashava's Poison Breath, which also deals significant damage. However, Ashava's power only targets a single direction and requires continuous hits to activate. In contrast, the eye beam can be unleashed directly into a mob pack, making it far more efficient.

Additional Boss Powers to Maximize Damage

To enhance this method, you can equip three additional Boss Powers.

1. Vashan's Life Steal: Grants an additional 80,000 damage, which means you can deal a total of approximately 580,000 damage to eliminate most enemies effectively.

2. Andariel's Flaming Skull: Gives extra damage over time.

3. Outlaw Sharpshooter's Eye: Adds another 20% bonus damage. The combination of Andariel's Flaming Skull and Outlaw Sharpshooter's Eye ensures that whenever you activate the Belial's Eye Beams, you're applying even more damage, which means you'll consistently hit enemies with damage over time, leading to their swift demise.

Using this strategy, you would successfully reach level 60 and transition through Torment 1 and 2, farming bosses for gear like the Beastfall Boots and Scoundrel's Leathers.

Eye Beam Scales with your Dexterity

The more Paragon points you have, the stronger the eye beam is. That is because the effectiveness of the eye beam scales with your Dexterity, not your weapon. For example, it deals 232,000 damage with a weapon equipped, but only 197,000 without it due to a loss in Dexterity and vulnerable damage. This highlights that weapon damage isn't a factor in maximizing your eye beam's potential.

Important Skill Nodes

While leveling, consider taking bonuses that boost your damage output. For instance, with the Exploit node in the Skill Tree, you can gain a 24% increase in damage against healthy or injured enemies, which applies to the eye beam without being tied to specific skills. When you hit a healthy enemy that is over 80% health, they take substantial damage.

Additionally, with the help of the Unstable Elixirs node, you can deal more damage when you drink a healing potion. Also, the Deadeye node allows you to deal 30% increased damage to distant enemies. These bonuses work independently of your blood or shadow skills, enabling you to deal more damage.

Example Build for Barbarian

You can apply this strategy to a Barbarian as well. This strategy works for everything and will help you transition smoothly into whatever you want.

1. Run up to your favorite statue and choose the Expert difficulty. If you prefer, you can go for Penitent.

Below are some important skills to use:

•   Lunging Strike: To move more quickly through enemies, you will want to pick the Lunging Strike node and upgrade it to Enhanced Lunging Strike, then to Combat Lunging Strike. Enhanced Lunging Strike heals you, and Combat Lunging Strike activates Berserking, providing a 25% damage increase. As long as you are in Berserking, your eye beam deals more damage.

•   Whirlwind: While you don't necessarily need a core skill, you can add Whirlwind and upgrade it to Enhanced Whirlwind and Furious Whirlwind, since they were recently buffed.

•   Belligerence: You also need the Belligerence node, which grants an additional 12% bonus damage when you are hitting an enemy with a basic skill.

•   Pit Fighter: With Pit Fighter, you can deal 3% increased damage to closed enemies and gain a damage reduction.

2. You will want to take the Belial's Eye Beams (560 damage over 3.5 seconds), together with the Andariel's Flaming Skull (bonus DoT), Outlaw Sharpshooter's Eye (damage to distant enemies), and Vashan's Life Steal (bonus curruption, 142 damage over 2 seconds).

3. Make sure to teleport yourself into the Helltides Expert Difficulty, as the monsters are at a higher level, giving more XP. Then use Lunging Strike to eliminate enemies quickly.

Additional Skills for Faster Leveling

To make the leveling process faster, you will want to take the Imposing Presence for additional max life, and then take Leap and Charge so you can move faster. You will also need the Aggressive Resistance and Battle Fervor nodes, as they put you into Berserking.
