In WoW Patch 11.2, there’s an incredibly strong delve farm that works not only during the first week of the patch but also becomes even better when Season 3 starts. This method, shared by MMO Unlocked on his YouTube channel, lets you farm everything you normally want from delves—brand experience, Undercoins, utility items, and even some gear—much faster than other methods. You can also work toward an achievement that awards a new title. The focus here is on farming Flickergates, a new delve mechanic in 11.2.

Unlocking Flickergates
To access Flickergates, you’ll first need your second cloak upgrade.
- Complete the main campaign to get your cloak and three threads (Upgrade 1).
- Earn three more threads from various content to get the second upgrade (delves are the easiest method—run Tier 1 for guaranteed thread drops from the end chest).
- Once one character gets Upgrade 2, it unlocks account-wide.
How Flickergates Work
Flickergates are void-like portals that spawn in various delve locations. When you interact with one:
- Option 1: You immediately receive loot (usually brand XP, undercoins, and utility items).
- Option 2: A weaker copy of Ky’veza spawns; defeat her for loot.
- Occasionally, you’ll be teleported to an Ethereal Routing Station—a skip mechanic that instantly completes the delve with max-tier rewards for that level.
Tip: Higher-tier delves give more brand XP and undercoins from Flickergates, but utility item drops are consistent across tiers.
Best Farming Location – Nightfall Sanctum (Hallowfall)
This delve is ideal for farming because:
- Two specific stories—Kyron’s Assault and Aiming to Get Even—give quick access to every Flickergate spawn location.
- You start at a high vantage point, allowing you to see most spawn points immediately.
Spawn Points: There are seven Flickergate locations in Nightfall Sanctum.
- First area: Three spawn points (visible from the starting ledge).
- Other side of the delve: Four spawn points (accessible via cannon or ballista in the two optimal stories).
Farming loop:
- Check the first three spawn points from the ledge.
- If no gate, use the cannon/ballista to check the other four.
- If none are active, leave and reset the delve.
- If a gate is active, interact/defeat Ky’veza/complete routing station objective, then reset.
Ky’veza Kill Tip
Six of the seven spawn points are near purple artillery traps—kite Ky’veza into these for massive damage. Avoid the gate on the rock in the water if undergeared.
Valuable Utility Items from Flickergates
Two drops to prioritize:
1. Shrieking Quartz
- Summons the Nemesis version of Ky’veza, guaranteeing a Delver’s Bounty Map (one per week per character).
- Normally costs 2,000 undercoins at the vendor—huge savings.
- Warband-bound, so you can farm on one character and send to alts.
2. Loot Raid-R Mini
- Highlights all loot curiosities in a delve—great for brand XP in Bountiful Delves.
- Normally costs 1,000 undercoins at the vendor.

Undercoins will be extremely valuable:
- Buy cosmetics, utility items, and catch-up gear.
- At Delver’s Journey Rank 3, a vendor appears after Tier 9+ delves, selling Champion-track trinkets for 2,000 undercoins—perfect for gearing alts.
