The FC 27 Hall of FUT gives Ultimate Team players a new way to turn Gallery Tokens into special players. With Tokens limited early on, choosing the right reward matters, especially when some cards offer immediate value while others are worth saving for.
Gallery Tokens can be earned by completing sets in the Gallery, so building up your Token balance is partly about managing your club resources. For some sets, that can mean using FC 27 coins to pick up the required players from the Transfer Market instead of waiting to pack every item yourself. The key is to consider the Token reward alongside the cost of completing the set.
In a recent video, YouTuber TavenUK shares his thoughts on which Hall of FUT players are worth getting first and highlights a major mistake you could be making without realizing it.
300 Tokens
The 300-Token group does not offer much value compared with the higher tiers. If you really want to pick one, McGeady is probably the most interesting option.
However, it may be better to save at least 100 more Tokens and go for Guarin at 400 Tokens.
Guarin is essentially a cheaper version of Hulk. He has a similar body type, very similar stats, and, most importantly, Power Shot+, just like Hulk. He is a little slower than Hulk, but when you are spending almost half the Tokens, the difference in pace is not a major concern.
That makes Guarin one of the best-value picks in the entire Gallery.
500 Tokens
The 500-Token group is where many players could make a major mistake with their pick.
If you need a defender, Micah Richards is an excellent choice. There are not many great right-backs available early in FC 27, and Richards offers an outstanding defensive profile. His defensive attributes and playstyles make him one of the most appealing defenders in the current selection.
However, if you are looking for an attacker, don't rush to spend 500 Tokens.
Doumbia and Balotelli are good cards, but if you can wait, saving up for a 750-Token option could give you much more value.
Save for 750 Tokens
This is the biggest point to keep in mind. For only 250 more Tokens, you can move from a good 500-Token attacker to Hulk or Alexandre Pato, and both can be extremely effective in-game.
Hulk is the preferred option because of his Power Shot+. That playstyle can make a huge difference, especially while Power Shots remain highly effective.
Pato is also an excellent attacking option, so either card can justify the extra grind.
The difference is simple: if you are only 250 Tokens away from a 750-Token attacker, it may be worth waiting rather than spending 500 Tokens on a good-but-not-great option.
Guarin and Hulk also show why getting the most value from your Gallery Tokens is so important. If you can be patient, saving those extra Tokens could give you cards capable of making a much bigger impact on the pitch.
