With Diablo 4 Season 10 now underway, many players are asking the same question: What class should I play this season? This tier list, shared by Rhykker on his YouTube channel, is based on the PTR experience, the subsequent patch notes (including nerfs to overpowered builds), and the four key performance categories - leveling (1–60), speed farming endgame content, Pit pushing, and bossing. For a class to rank highly, it needs multiple viable builds across these categories. A single overpowered build isn’t enough for a top-tier ranking. Now, let’s dive in.

Diablo 4 Season 10 Class Tier List – Best Class to Play

D Tier – Barbarian

Barbarian sits at the bottom. That doesn’t mean it’s bad—it’s just weaker compared to others.

Leveling options include Rend, Whirlwind, Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, and Double Swing, but none excel. If you love playing Barbarian but don’t want to struggle through the slower early game, you can always rely on MmoGah’s Diablo 4 Boost services to quickly reach level 60 and unlock its true endgame potential.

For speed farming, builds like Whirlwind, Earthquake, Rupture, and Bash exist, but they lag behind top-tier speed builds from other classes.

The standout is Mighty Throw, a one-shot powerhouse for bossing and Pit pushing. It isn’t the most fun playstyle, but it’s effective. Lunging Strike is a more enjoyable alternative, but not as strong at high levels.

Recommended Path: Level with general builds → Transition into Lunging Strike → Build Mighty Throw for Pit/Bossing.

C Tier

Nobody. The gap between Barbarian and the rest of the roster is wide.

B Tier – Spiritborn

Spiritborn shines in leveling, speed farming, and Pit pushing, but struggles at bossing.

  • Leveling (1–60): Evade, Quill Volley, Stinger.
  • Speed Farming: Evade, Stinger, Crushing Hand.
  • Pit Pushing: Touch of Death, Payback, Crushing Hand.
  • Bossing: Touch of Death and Quill Volley are best, but still weaker than other classes.

Touch of Death is a standout for Pit pushing, possibly one of the best builds overall this season. However, Spiritborn lacks a truly elite bossing build.

A Tier – Necromancer & Rogue

Necromancer

Necromancer is a well-rounded class, excelling in most areas except speed farming, where mobility holds it back.

Leveling: Minions or Blood Surge.

Speed Farming: Blood Wave, Shadowblight.

Bossing: Blood Wave, Shadowblight, Bone Spear, Bone Spirit.

Pit Pushing: Shadowblight is the top option.

Shadowblight emerges as the new star, surpassing Blood Wave in most content.

Rogue

Rogue is nearly the opposite of Necro—it dominates speed farming and bossing, but lags in Pit pushing.

Leveling: Dance of Knives (best by far).

Speed Farming: Dance of Knives, Flurry, Death Trap.

Bossing: Death Trap, Twisting Blades, Rain of Arrows, Heartseeker.

Pit Pushing: Death Trap and Rapid Fire are the best, but still weaker than top-tier Pit builds.

Recommended Path: Level with Dance of Knives → Farm with Dance of Knives → Transition to Death Trap for endgame.

S Tier – Sorcerer & Druid

Sorcerer

The Sorcerer excels everywhere except Pit pushing, where it’s merely “very good.”

Leveling: Ball Lightning, Chain Lightning, Hydra, Incinerate.

Speed Farming: A huge variety—Lightning Spear, Frozen Orb, Fireball, Ice Shards, Incinerate, Meteor, Hydra, Chain Lightning, Ball Lightning, Inferno, Blizzard.

Bossing: Hydra, Meteor, Ball Lightning.

Pit Pushing: Ball Lightning dominates.

Ball Lightning is likely the flavor of the season, strong across all content.

Druid

The Druid takes the crown as Season 10’s strongest class. Its only weakness is slow 1–60 leveling, which many players overlook given how short that phase can be.

Leveling: Shred, Pulverize, Lightning Storm.

Speed Farming: Shred, Cataclysm, Pulverize, Flesh Render, Companion.

Bossing: Pulverize, Flesh Render, Companion.

Pit Pushing: Pulverize, Flesh Render, and Companion dominate.

Even after PTR nerfs, Companion Druid remains powerful. Shred is a top-tier speed farming build, while Pulverize and Flesh Render excel in bossing and Pit pushing.

Recommended Path: Level with Pulverize → Transition to Pulverize Endgame → Farm Shred for speed → Use Pulverize/Flesh Render for Bossing & Pit pushing.

Final Thoughts

Every class in Season 10 is much stronger than before, thanks to Chaos Perks and Chaos Armor. While Druid and Sorcerer sit at the top, even Barbarian players will find the game more enjoyable and powerful this season.

So—what class are you rolling for Diablo 4 Season 10?
