This week's challenges are packed with variety:
1. Open ARC Probes
The best place to do this is during an electromagnetic storm. ARC probes drop much more frequently in this weather, and you also get double points from the map condition. Picture yourself in the middle of a raging storm, precisely opening probes while points rain down on you — incredibly satisfying.
2. Damage Flying ARC Enemies Inside Spaceport Walls
This is surprisingly easy. The area is already swarming with flying enemies, plus rocketeers. If you want even more points, bring a Snitch Scanner and pop it inside the spaceport walls. It'll attract extra hornets and wasps, letting you rack up points quickly while also damaging rocketeers and other flying foes.
3. Open Containers Inside the Traffic Tunnels
This time, the challenge isn't locked behind a gate. You can enter the Blue Gate area anytime and loot the containers. It's not explicitly stated whether other areas (like the under‑tunnels in Spaceport) work as well, but the traffic tunnels at the bottom of Blue Gate are a safe bet. Even if another player has already searched a container, you can still "re-search" it and earn the points — super convenient.
4. Damage Fireflies
Fireflies are a notorious pain. They spawn most often near the three pillars inside the Close Scrutiny zone. A solid strategy is to hang around Close Scrutiny locations, let other players trigger the breaches (so they get their loot), and then pick off the fireflies that appear. Alternatively, the rooftops of Buried City also offer a clean line of sight to take them down.
5. Damage Queens or Matriarchs
This old favorite has returned after a long absence. If you're chasing legendary weapon crafting materials or just want some extra cash, this is your chance. Grab your best gear, head into a friendly lobby, and go to town on the Queen and Matriarch-pure fun.
Map Update: Infinite Possibilities for Future Expeditions
Beyond the weekly challenges, the game has also teased an exciting map update.
♦ Riven Tides — April 28 Update Preview
According to official info, the new map will feature:
• A swimming pool
• A beachfront bar
• The Exodus Hotel
• Wrecked custom house interiors
• A stacking yard
The area looks substantial, promising plenty of exploration and combat opportunities.
♦ Major Expedition Mode Changes
The Expedition mode has received key adjustments:
• New Objective: Instead of "stash value," the goal is now to deal damage. You can use any weapon or gadget against any target (except the practice range) to earn skill points.
• Skill Point Gain: Whether it's your first or second expedition of the week, you can earn all 5 skill points. Anyone who has completed their caravan can join — no separate sign-up needed.
• Catch-up Mechanic: The stash value catch-up remains. Each skill point requires 300,000 stash value (including ARC Raiders Coins and ARC Raiders Items).
• Duration: The damage challenge lasts 5 days (Tuesday through Sunday).
The developers have also said they'll continue to adjust Expeditions based on data and feedback. Rewards will better reflect what players actually achieve, and the reset rules will be refined. Completing the third Expedition will unlock a Patchwork Outfit, and the fourth Expedition will introduce the first step of a brand-new cosmetic set.
