First Madden 19 Screenshots and More Insight Into New Features
EA released the first screenshots and a few tidbits of info about its new gameplay features. First, here are the screenshots:
EA promises new, enhanced control over player movements. We will get more information on this upgrade on June 9. It will include player and team celebrations along with the ability to push blockers as a ball carrier, rather than maneuvering around them, as well as one-cut movements to break away from defenders.
MUT is set to have expanded league content and a new progression system More info on the collector mode will arrive the week of May 28.
The new features to Connected Franchise like Draft Class Creator will be expounded upon during the week of June 11. Lastly, the next layer in the Frostbite engine evolution will be displayed during the week of June 18.

Release Date, HOF Cover Athlete, Pre-Order Info and New Features Revealed
EA Sports revealed the release date info, pre-order details, HOF edition cover athlete as well as gameplay and new features for CFM and MUT. Owens confirmed the cover athlete news with this tweet.
The release date info is above, but here are the pre-order details and a closer look at the cover:
Fans who pre-order the standard edition will receive the full game on August 10th and their choice of one Elite Player from their favorite NFL team, as well as five Gold Team Fantasy Packs. In celebration of Terrell Owens’ induction to the Hall of Fame, fans who pre-order the Hall of Fame Edition of Madden NFL 19 will receive all the benefits of the standard edition but also 3-day earlier access, their choice of one of five Elite Hall of Fame Legends in Madden Ultimate Team, one Training Pack, and seven additional Gold Team Fantasy Packs.
EA Access members can play Madden NFL 19 first, starting August 2ndon Xbox One. EA Access members will also receive a 10 percent discount when they pre-order the digital version of Madden NFL 19 on Xbox Live.

As for new features, this year's game will use Real Player Motion Technology. The new animation system, which was used in EA UFC 3, is designed to upgrade the level of responsiveness in player control. The game will also feature new positional archetypes. In Connected Franchise Mode, this will be used as a team-building tool.
CFM will also feature Custom Draft Classes with a full creation feature. We're still waiting on info as to whether the creations will be shareable with the community.
CFM players can also choose the offensive and defensive schemes that best fit their playstyle, participate in single and/or multiplayer seasons. The schemes are linked to a new progression system that is based on the new positional archetypes.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team introduces will bring fans new training tools to develop their players. A new leaderboard system called MUT Solo Battles is coming to Solo Challenges to give fans a way to determine who the best in the community is at completing these grind exercises within the mode.

Madden's New Senior Producer
Madden's previous senior producer was Rex Dickson, but he stepped down in early May. Carlos Guerrero will now be the senior producer for the series, which was a post previously held by Seann Graddy.
Guerrero was hired by EA in August 2017. Previously, he worked with Blizzard on games like Overwatch and World of Warcraft.
