NBA 2K19: Which Game's Shot Meter Did You Like the Best?

By Michel Z2018-06-11

Is NBA 2K19 coming with a new shot meter? The shot meter is one of the most debated elements of NBA 2K within the game's community. Which game's shot meter did you like the best? Well, it depends on who you ask, but from the early results from a poll on Twitter, it seems a lot of fans favored the meter in NBA 2K17.

On Sunday, NBA 2K gameplay producer Mike Wang tweeted the poll below for fans and the engagement levels went through the roof.

NBA 2K19 releases on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 11. Fans who pre-order the 20th Anniversary Special Edition will get the game four days early on September 7.  NBA 2K18 MT is on hot sale at MmoGah, and as a top-ranked NBA 2K MT provider, will also offer NBA 2K19 MT for you as soon as possible after the game is released.  So please keep checking back for more NBA 2K news and guides related to NBA 2K19 MT coins at MmoGah.

The latest version of the Shot meter is above the head, which helps to keep your eyes near the release of the ball and it allows you to see the action on the floor a little better. If you're focused on your player's feet, you lose sight of the rest of the floor for a split second.

But it's a matter of preference. DMan, a longtime member of the NBA 2K community had an outstanding idea in the thread of Wang's Twitter poll. He asked if it would be possible to choose the type of shot meter for your own personal experience. It would be similar to the way you can play from a different camera view than your opponents or teammates in Park and Pro-Am.

That's probably the best option for everyone. Whatever the final choice is, it seems Wang will likely take the community's most-popular choice into consideration when this aspect of the game is finalized. If you haven't voted and wanted your voice heard, I'd urge you to chime in before Monday when the poll will have expired.
