Paul has a 91 Overall rating in NBA 2K17, which ranks him behind Russell Westbrook and Stephen Curry. James Harden, was rated at 96 only behind LeBron James for the best player in the league. Pairing the two All-Stars, the Rockets will have the highest-rated backcourt duo in NBA 2K18.
Paul brings the Rockets his exceptional ability to score at the rim and in the mid-range game. He will even be an upgrade from outside the arc over Patrick Beverley. Paul has great passing skills, Harden actually rates better in the majority of those categories.
There’s no question that the Paul-Harden duo can make the Rockets a better video game team. However, it remains to be seen how well he will cooperate with Harden on the real court together, whether they have the right complimentary pieces around them and what other moves might be made this summer in the reshaping of Houston's roster.
