World of Warcraft patch 8.0: Battle for Azeroth will be released on or before Sep 21, and it is available for preorder from the Blizzard store right now. Anyone who pre-orders Battle for Azeroth will be able to access the Allied Races and existing races in WoW. With these new variants, you'll be able to properly start a new character at level 20.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the upcoming seventh expansion set in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, following Legion

The expansion’s idea came up after Azeroth’s the heroes dealt with much external threats: when we talk about what's the biggest threat in this world, is it the titan or is it the dwarf paladin that put a hammer in that titan's head? As such, the enemy will be the opposite faction – a vast army of world-destroying forces.

Between the Alliance and Horde, the expansion will explore the wounds suffered in the long-running feud. There’s no love lost between them, and their tensions really come to a head in the story.

The next World of Warcraft expansion will take the game back to its roots, focusing on the battle between the Horde and the Alliance. Each side will be able to explore three new zones. The Horde will have access to Zandalar islands while the Alliance will be able to traverse Kul Tiras island. These new areas will include allied races, and players can recruit and eventually play a role.

This expansion brings a new islands system that adds an almost rogue-like element to the game, which may be the most exciting addition. Basically players will be able to build three parties and explore these island areas. The catch here is when you visit these areas, they will change slightly every time. You'll also can access new areas - Waterfronts that support 20 player fights over locations of strategic importance for the Horde and the Alliance.

Battle for Azeroth also includes a new legendary neck piece - the Heart of Azeroth. This neck piece will allow players to unlock new abilities that connect to their armors. Finally, Battle for Azeroth will raise the current level cap to 120 and will include a feature that allows players to buy a boost up to level 110.
