The January transfer window has slammed shut and it has left us with some massive changes halfway through the season.
The transfers have left FIFA 18 Ultimate Team players eager to get their hands on the latest players’ cards. Here MmoGah.com looks back at all of January's major signings and see how good they perform in FIFA 18.
Manchester United: Alexis Sanchez - 89
Alexis Sanchez is one of the most talked about transfers, who joined Manchester United in a straight-swap for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
His performance is phenomenal, and you can see from his “Winter One to Watch” card. His 89 overall rating automatically makes him the highest rated outfield-player at the club, just one point behind goalkeeper David De Gea.
Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 88
After Mkhitaryan was swapped for Sanchez, most Arsenal fans probably assumed him would be their biggest signing of the window, but Wenger was able to sign one of the best strikers in the world - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Anybody wants to buy him on Ultimate Team, as his Dortmund card currently costs 150k coins. Once he receives his Premier League card, his price will soon shoot up.
Barcelona: Philippe Coutinho - 86
The most expensive January transfer, Philippe Coutinho joined Barcelona for a breathtaking £145m.
During his time at Liverpool this season, he was sensational: scoring and creating a lot of chances. It's a wonderful player for Barcelona.
Coutinho's 86 overall rating was enough for him to be Liverpool's highest-rated player, but he isn't even in the top five at Barcelona.
Liverpool: Virgil Van Dijk - 83
Liverpool quickly made use of their Coutinho money by spending a ludicrous £75m on defender Virgil Van Dijk.
He's joint-second with a lot of players for the highest rated player at Liverpool, just one point behind Sadio Mane's 84.
Manchester City: Aymeric Laporte - 84
Another defender Aymeric Laporte with a hefty price-tag, who is Manchetser City's most expensive defender ever at £57m.
Still, Laporte is an exceptional center-back who has potential to become even better. He is left-footed adds a nice bit of balance to their back-line.
Laporte was the joint-highest rated player at Athletic Bilbao, but he isn't even the highest rated defender in his City, sitting one point behind Vincent Kompany.
Chelsea: Olivier Giroud - 82
Chelsea were linked with most strikers in the Premier League, but they finally signed someone - Olivier Giroud on deadline day. He has been brought in as competition for struggling striker Alvaro Morata, who has the advantage with an 84 overall rating.
Still, Giroud is powerful in the right situations, as he has 90 rating for heading and strength.
Tottenham Hotspur: Lucas Moura - 82
Lucas is ridiculously quick with 93 pace on FIFA 18, making him the fastest player in the squad according to the game. His rating 86 dribbling and four-star skill moves also suggests that he is going to be a handful for defenders to deal with.
Atletico Madrid: Diego Costa - 86
Chelsea have been trying to find a striker after they allowed Diego Costa to leave, selling him to Atletico Madrid for £57m.
With 83 shooting and 88 physicality on the game, he is incredibly hard to deal with. Moreover, he is deceptively mobile with 75 pace and 76 dribbling.
